I would recommend this cabin to anybody looking for an accommodation in the area of the Kenai peninsula. The living spaces are good even for a long stay, because of the comfortable spaces. The cabin is very confortable for up to 4 people. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an additional basin, a kitchen small but well equipped, and a separate living room. There is also a large porch with barbeque, that we used for the salmons we fished.
The location is central, being within reasonable drive distance from both Homer and Seward, and just minutes away from the wanderful Kenai river, so good for fishing, hikes, mushroom gathering.
The best feature is the view of the lake, through wide windows in the kitchen and living area, where in the sunny days you can enjoy beautiful sunsets.
Wildlife is often passing through, even if we saw only a moose on one morning and almost saw caribous on one evening.
Ted and Elaina are wonderful hosts, and spoiled us throughout our stay, with tastes of local fish and game and even organizing a fishing trip on the river.
So, in conclusion, if we ever will come back to Alaska, we surely stay agan at this place.
