Enjoy our peaceful retreat in the woods. Sit on the wrap around deck and feed the dozens of deer. Or just enjoy our stunning views. Relax in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. We have a little of everything....privacy but still just a mile from the ski area road and just 5 minutes to the heart of downtown. 15 minutes to Ruidoso Downs.

Serene, Cozy, & Stunning

This cabin was a splendid place for our family to stay! It was gorgeous and cozy! It was VERY clean and the hot tub was a huge plus! Our favorite part was getting to see all the wildlife (deer and horses right outside the cabin). The property feels very secluded, but yet easy to get to anything you want to go to! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Family holiday heaven!

We had a fantastic stay with our family and my sister’s family. The house was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays, making it feel so warm and festive. We loved the wildlife around the property, the stunning sunrises and sunsets, and how peaceful yet convenient the location was. A truly memorable getaway—can’t wait to return!

Amazing property!

This property was fabulous! We had amazing communication from the property owner. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the location as well as the well decorated and cozy home. We would recommend this property to anyone!

Cozy home away from home!

This house was so cozy and in a perfect location…it was in a quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife and still a quick drive into town. We were greeted by wild horses, elk, and deer! Very clean, fully equipped, and comfortable for our family. Loved the porch, the hot tub, fireplace, and sunrises/sunsets!

Peaceful Weekend

This is our first time staying at this property and we loved it. Even our teenage son enjoyed the stay at the property. The wild horses and deer came up on back patio. The house was cozy and exactly as listed. It was quiet and so peaceful and views amazing. This is now our favorite place in Alto. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked our second stay.

Great weekend getaway

My wife and I and our 2 dogs stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. This place was fully stocked with everything we could have needed, the house was tidy and clean, and exactly what we were looking for. The plus was the gas fireplace and hot tub that we used after our Saturday hike! Highly recommend and will be staying here again!

Great host, great property!

Stacy is an awesome host, and her property is amazing! It has beautiful views and lots of wildlife. We had so many deer and horses stop by right outside the back door! Our kiddos had so much fun getting up close and feeding them apples. The only minor complaint I have is that there was a lot of dog hair on the couches, living room rug, and bedrooms; besides that, everything was perfect. The house is cozy, well stocked, clean, and comfortably fit my family of 9. Definitely stay here for some unforgettable memories! Thank you, Stacy!

Didn’t want to leave!

Our stay was wonderful and the property was even nicer than than the pictures indicated! Had a once in a lifetime experience feeding wild horses and deer off the back deck! The house has great views and is warm and inviting - such a great feel - We didn’t want to leave!

So Cozy

Had the best time at this property. Host is fantastic and easy to communicate with. Attention to detail throughout the home makes your stay so effortless. Excellent location, easy to visit ski area and go into town when needed. Elk and deer frequented the premises. Hot tub at night under the stars is magical. Lovely home, hope to visit again.

Great spot to see deer

We had a party of 8, so everyone was accommodated except for two, for sleeping in the living room. But the appliances and the linen and everything were great.

Lovely home, perfect Ski Apache location!

Wow! I remember as a kid staying in the town of Ruidoso and how long it took getting to and up to the ski area. This home in Alto is about as close as you’re gonna get to Ski Apache. What a wonderful location! The home was very well kept with everything we needed to be comfortable. Every detail was thought of. Truly a 5- star experience!

A Magical and Thoughtful Home

I stayed at this home with my partner and two younger children. There was so much and more for the kids to enjoy and do, as well as for me and my partner. We really loved and appreciated all the extra thoughtful touches that were found throughout the home. It was definitely above and beyond what we expected, and we were already looking forward to this mini vacation. The space was the perfect size for our family of 4 to have enough room to move around and be close, without feeling cramped. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home

My husband and I personally believe that this house is way more beautiful then the pictures. It was very clean, well stocked and so comfortable. We loved sitting in the living room looking out the window watching the deer. We were also lucky enough to see the wild horses (2 days in a row) directly off the back porch and in front of the house. It was amazing to sit in the living room and watch them. Stacy is the best and very friendly. She was quick to respond to all my questions. You wont regret staying here and we will definitely be booking this house again.

This property has it all! Located in the lovely Sun Valley neighborhood...you couldn't get much better than this. We have a beautifully wooded lot with incredible views. Quiet and yet everything is just 5 to 10 minutes away.
