The Space:
Located alongside a creek in the country, this working ranch will exceed your expectations! Enjoy farm animals, mountain views, gorgeous sunsets and sun rises.  Luxury living just minutes to Visalia, Exeter, and Tulare. Whether you're sipping wine around the fire, taking a stroll through the pastures, or BBQing creek side on the covered patio, staying here will be an experience you'll never forget! Visalia's best-kept secret, this hidden gem tucked away in an orchard is great for couples traveling to nearby Sequoia National Park, or just in need of a staycation. The Space

This vacation rental is actually the guest house to a primary residence on the property, but doesn't feel like a guest house at all. Up a flight of stairs, you'll find a luxurious designer loft, fit with a fully appointed kitchen, large pantry, spacious living room, and gorgeous bedroom, with beautiful views out every window. The fire pit is set up just for guests, and is the perfect place to relax and gaze up at the stars. Downstairs, there's a great covered patio that faces the creek, a sitting area, and washer and dryer.

Getting Around

We suggest you use your own vehicle, but Lyft and Uber are available.  This property features lots of acreage that you're welcome to take advantage of to go on morning jogs, or just enjoy to farm animals. We do ask that you respect the privacy of the homeowners in the main house on the property. The main house, pool, and garage are off limits to guests.

The Neighborhood

The home is located in rural Visalia, the Gateway to the Sequoias, close enough to enjoy everything Visalia has to offer, while being just far enough away to avoid congestion, traffic, and noise. Many nearby restaurants and entertainment options, including downtown Visalia's famous Main Street, farmer's markets, and theaters.  Check out Creekside Day Spa, too, if you're here to relax! With such a relaxing atmosphere, many guests prefer to hang out at the property, but if you're in the mood for adventure, head just 45 minutes to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. Bring your fishing gear and drop your line in the creek for fun, or drive just 25 minutes to Kaweah Lake, where you can rent a boat or fish from the shore!  Day trips to the Central California Coast, Disneyland, and Yosemite are possible if you're up for a 2-3 hour drive!

Important to Note:

There's a flight of stairs leading to the living space. The first story is only a hang out space and washer/dryer, all living and bedroom spaces are upstairs.

There is a seasonal creek right alongside the property. There are farm animals in the pastures. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

House Rules

1. Communication is key!  Check in after 4pm.  Check out by 11am.  Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, so please communicate between those hours and let us know if you plan to arrive after 9pm.

2.  Honesty is the best policy! Max occupancy is 3. Let us know about ALL guests who will be coming to the house. Pets are not allowed.

3. No parties! Please respect our ranch as if it's your own. No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.

4. Be respectful! Please drive slowly down the lane.  Park in the designated parking space by the sign, please don't block the garage. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.

5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If this doesn't sound like a good fit, let us know what you're looking for and we can point you in the right direction. We'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!

6. Be a local! We hope you enjoy our beautiful town! Let us know if you need recommendations for dinner or entertainment!

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire guest house loft, fire pit area, and covered patio. We ask that you park in the designated parking spot near the primary residence (look for the sign). Feel free to walk along the creek and lanes through the animal pens, but do NOT climb over into the animal pens. Pool and pond are off limits to guests.

The Neighborhood:
Country setting, surrounded by orchards and farmland, and situated at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. On a clear day, you can see beautiful views of the snow capped mountains. A seasonal creek runs alongside the farm, and a variety of farm animals are just a short walk from the front door. This is a one-of-a-kind property that you're sure to put on your list of favorites.

Other Things to Note:
Not all GPS systems will take you to the correct address, please see your check in instructions for directions.

No garage access. Guests have a designated parking spot near the main residence. Two vehicles, max.

There is a beautiful creek that runs alongside the Airbnb. It is not gated. We think of this as more of a couple's retreat, but if you do bring a child, you must keep an eye on them at all times. Please NEVER leave children unattended.

The washer and dryer are available upon request. Please ask customer service for the code if needed.

Not quiet and peaceful

Property was as listed - very nice and clean. However our complaint was due to barking dogs. We were unable to enjoy the outside spaces due to this. To be fair - we complained our first night there and the dogs were quieted. However the rest of our stay we chose not to continue to complain and did not go outside due to dogs barking and the neighbors talking right next to our outdoor space. You could still hear the dogs inside and had to have tv on. We were also awakened our first morning at 7 am by lawn service which continued for over an hour. This was billed as a “ quiet” place to relax which is what we were looking for but we did not have that experience.
