We had a wonderful time. Certainly it was too short of a time. My mother has been fighting lung cancer and stated it was the best she has felt in over a year being out there. I was very appreciative of the communication of remaining informed as time progressed towards our check in. The house has everything you could possibly need beyond turn key, making it quick and easy to get settled in. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Driftwood Lodge, exploring Abingdon, biking on the trail, and hiking. The house is in a safe, beautiful location. The house is well-stocked and well-equipped for entertainment. We enjoyed the firepit, the game room, streaming a movie, sitting on the balconies, and walking through the neighborhood to the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood lodge. It was perfect for our group. It's in a quiet neighborhood with nice views of the lake. It's also very close to the Virginia Creeper trail, Abingdon and nice hiking areas. The cabin is very clean, spacious, and organized. It worked well for our group because we could be together or spend time in separate spaces. Communication with the host was excellent. We hope to be back soon!

Family Vacation at Lake Holston

Overall this is one of the better VRBOs that I have stayed at. The house is very nice, the property is well maintained and the area couldn’t be better. Very thankful for our host and their communication. We will be back!

Perfect getaway spot

We stayed in Abingdon for the weekend, as we were attending an Emory and Henry college football game (a quick 20 min drive away). The cabin was very well stocked and there was great communication with the host. The fire pit is lovely. We hope to stay again soon! Thanks Melissa!

Wonderful Stay

We love this house and location! This is the 4th time we have rented this house, and we just love it. We love the location, the views, the peacefulness and the house itself. Melissa was once again a wonderful host. There is great communication, and she is very friendly. We are already looking forward to our next visit. :-)

Gorgeous area!

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious, beautiful home! It had everything we needed. The views of the lake and nature are incredible. There's so much to explore in this area... Virginia Creeper Trail, Abingdon Vineyards, Downtown Abingdon, Barter Theater to name a few! Check in process was easy and host was great! Highly recommend.

Great weekend

Me, my wife, and 21-year-old daughter enjoyed the weekend at Driftwood Lodge. The location is near the South Holston Lake, where we kayaked on Saturday morning. Only about a 15-minute drive to Abingdon or Damascus. Near the Creeper Trail. Very clean and well-stocked.
