Beautiful unobstructed view of the Northumberland straight and confederation bridge. Enjoy warm fun filled strolls on the beach directing in front of you with your own beach access in front of your cottage. At nights enjoy the many out door games provided. Have a camp fires at nights roast marshmallows with your family.

Very quiet location, a short drive to the Confederation Bridge, lovely beach and lighthouse nearby. Access to the water at the front of the property for wading or watching hermit crabs in the tidal pools. Such a clean, modern, and well-equipped property, with a comfortable bunkie retreat beside the main guesthouse. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very responsive.

Very nice, very clean, and very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The cottage was very well equipped. The host was very quick to respond to any questions and requests. The cottage is a stone's throw from the beach. During low tide, the beach is big, with lots of sea shells and crabs. During high tide, the beach disappears. The cottage is about a 20 minute drive from Summerside. We highly recommend the cottage to all whom are looking for a charming, quiet get away.

Every little detail!

This was a perfect place for a quiet relaxing holiday. Every little detail was there in this beautifully renovated cottage. There were many activities for us to do, if we had wanted to. The view was stunning! We would definitely recommend this place!

Hidden Gem!

We stayed in the Mack Shack for 5 days and it exceeded all of our expectations! Greg and Brenda were quick to respond to any questions we had and their welcome gift of S’more kit and local beer was beyond generous! The cottage and bunky were immaculate and we had every amenity needed. Our family enjoyed daily walks on the beach, coffee and drinks on the wrap around porch and S’mores by the fire. We loved our time at the Mack Shack so much we booked a week for next summer before we left!

Thought the cottage was a two bedroom unit but it was a one bedroom friends stayed in the bunkie

Units very clean and cottage was well equipped. The friends in the bunkie wished there had been a chair to sit in for reading and there was no tv or internet in their unit.

One of the Best Cottages We've Ever Stayed At

We enjoyed a truly wonderful stay at this cottage! It is immaculately clean, and perfectly maintained. The view out of the front windows and from the wrap-around deck is breathtaking. Our family and my wife's family have rented cottages for many years, and this is literally the nicest one we have ever stayed at! Greg was extremely responsive to questions, responded instantly to requests for resupply of the supplied dish detergent and salt. When we arrived he had left us 3 beers for the grownups and a "s'mores" kit for our kids to enjoy. Attention to detail, the creation of a welcoming environment and friendliness were so exceptional, I couldn't believe it. Greg and his wife even gave some seashells to my little girls as a souvenir and even some fresh picked strawberries! This place is the perfect place for spectacular sea views, relaxation and quiet. Greg goes above and beyond as a host, and the value for the cost was superb. Next trip to PEI, we will be booking with Greg again to stay at this delightful and flawless property! Thanks so much for making our family getaway a truly memorable and remarkable experience!!!
