Beautiful 2 story gen in great location in Charlestown. Our home is the 2nd and 3rd floor of a row house, newly painted and furnished. Tastefully decorated, we wanted it to feel like a chic hotel when we enjoy the city. Large by city standards, the main floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room (with our favorite window seat!) and 1/2 bath.
The washer/dryer are located in the 1/2 bath. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and a full bath. There is a beautiful private roof deck (only available during pleasant weather:)

Charlestown offer wonder access to all Boston and New England has to offer. Easy access to the Mass Transportation. The T, orange line, is just an 8 minute walk from our home. There is a bus which runs in just on Main Street which travels downtown. Ferry's depart from the seaport, traveling to Cape Cod.

Very conveniently located to explore Boston, you can enjoy walking to Bunker Hill Monument, the Freedom Trail, TD Garden, the North End, Orange line and all Boston has to offer. The unit occupies the 2nd and 3rd story of a row house, it is spacious and comfortable. We love Charlestown with it's neighborhood vibe and young vibrant community. Just a couple blocks away is Whole Foods, Monument Restaurant and Tavern, Mister Q Cafe, the Warren Tavern, The Westerly and Sweet Rice Thai restaurant. Enjoy a walk to Constitution Wharf, Boston National Historical Wharf and so much more!

This apartment was fabulous!! The location couldn’t be better, walking distance to fun restaurants, bars and pubs as well as the Bunker Hill monument! The apartment is a wonderful renovated historic home with all needed amenities. We especially loved the roof top deck for morning coffee! I highly recommend this place and will stay here again when in Boston with my family! Thank you for having us!

Hi Elaina, Glad you enjoyed your stay! If it is three adults who all need their own bed it is.a great fit, thank you. Just for potential guests reading your review, it might be a bit confusing, so I’d just like to confirm: as described, the unit has 2 queens and a sofa bed. For guest count purposes it is assumed a couple per queen. Even though sofa bed is a full and some might put 2 guests on it, we just count it for one guest. That brings the total which the unit works well for is 5 guests or less, ( depending on the necessary bedding configuration for the group.) All the best!

Fabulous Boston vacay!

The property was exactly as described - beautiful, clean, well stocked with amenities. it offered plenty of room for 5 adults. The property is a half mile from the T but easy to find & access. Great location in a quiet community. Owner is incredibly responsive. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Boston. I can't recommend this property enough.

Close to many atttractions

Great location, easy to get to the north end or one of the sight seeing tour bus stops. There are a fair number of stairs and the staircases are old and tight but other than that the place is great.

Great spot in Charlestown

We loved staying at this spacious and beautiful place in Charlestown. There was more than enough space for our family of four and the apartment was well appointed. The roof deck was especially lovely and we were happy to be so close to many neighborhood cafes and restaurants.

Loved the place and the location Parking was tough, but pretty true everywhere in Boston Clean and great roof top patio Only thing to be careful is the steps getting up to place and up to rooms inside the place are steep and small. Really enjoyed our stay

Spotless, attractive, well-located apartment

Very clean. Plenty of towels. Well-equipped kitchen. Bathrooms are airy and updated. Easy walk to coffee shop, restaurants, and Whole Foods. It was the perfect place for us and our adult kids over a long weekend. FYI, we did not have a car which helped a lot since street parking is really tight. And as the owner says, be ready to climb stairs!

Awesome Location

We were visiting Boston for a few days and couldn’t believer how fortunate we were to have booked this home. It is close to everything! Quick access to the Freedom Trail, easy to find trains, and lots of food. The house is beautiful and clean but there are lots of stairs. Good news since after you tryout the yummy nearby restaurants you will need to exercise.

Perfect spot!

Anna was so quick to respond to our messages! The house was beautiful and we loved spending time on the roof in the evenings. We were a short subway trip away from downtown Boston and Charlestown is such a quiet, cute area. We walked to get coffee each morning at Mister Qs and found a lot of great lunch spots. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable apartment if you don't need to be downtown

The apartment is charming inside and comfortable. This was better than staying in a hotel if it's unecesarry to stay downtown. The building entrance to the two units is a bit grungy but that would be my only complaint.

Couldn’t have been more perfect

We rent a lot of homes for our family of 5, and we all agree: this might have been the best ever. The location was perfect; the host, Anna, was communicative and thorough and very helpful; the house was stocked with all the essentials; the furniture and beds were stylish and super comfortable. Friendly and accommodating

We stayed at Anna's place for the week leading up to our daughter's wedding. The property was as advertise and had plenty of room. The location was great and we were able to navigate the parking with Anna's tips! We also were able to have a couple of meals at home which was a bonus. This location was a great value and we would recommend to anyone looking for the comforts of home while away. Thanks Anna for an enjoyable and easy stay!

I love the Charlestown area. It just feels like a very friendly area… After returning every 3 month , Ive stayed in many of the VRBO properties in the area so I have many favorite places to go and I feel very comfortable here … many great Restaurants and coffee places, grocery stores. , pharmacy. Family memories

Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The neighborhood was quiet, beautiful and safe. There is Bus stop (bus 92) right at the corner of the street, and another one (bus 93) a few blocks in the other direction, and a train station is a ten minute walk away. The staircases in the house are steep, be aware of that, but it didn’t cause us a problem. This home is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood that’s also incredibly walkable. We started most mornings with a short stroll to Mister Q, the friendly local coffee shop with amazing drinks and pastries. The nearby bus stop made getting into downtown Boston quick and convenient, but we also enjoyed how peaceful it felt to return “home” at the end of the day.The host was wonderful—responsive, helpful, and provided very clear instructions that made check-in and our entire stay seamless.The layout of the home was just perfect for our family. The main level had everything we needed: a comfortable living room, spacious dining area, well-equipped kitchen, half bath, and laundry. Upstairs, the three bedrooms were thoughtfully arranged—two with queen beds (great for adults and teens) and one with a twin—plus a spotless full bath.Our favorite part was the living and dining area. It was so cozy and inviting that, despite a packed itinerary, we actually canceled one of our dinner reservations just to stay in. We ordered takeout, watched movies by the fireplace, and played games together in the comfy nook—some of our best memories from the trip!We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Boston—it’s a perfect mix of comfort, location, and warmth.

Comfortable house but parking was horrendous, requiring moving our car afternoon and evening to avoid ticketing. We weren't warned before making the reservation. Big annoyance was nowhere to place toiletries or wet towels in bathroomd because shelving or bars were scarce

Hi Chris, the listing does say that parking is not provided. It is a city apartment and no parking is the norm, with resident parking stickers needed everywhere for in Boston. Our welcome book does provide guests with options on where to park if they do bring a car. Reviews are for scoring amenities which are provided, not for scoring ones which we acknowledge are not provided but you wish were. In this case, giving us less stars because we don’t have parking is like giving us less stars because we are not a 4 bedroom. We weren’t advertised as that and we did not advertise as providing parking. The bathroom does provide 5 hooks on the back of the door and a towel bar and each bedroom also provides hooks which can be used for towels.

Charlestown retreat

Great apartment. Enjoyed. Clean, nicely decorated. Wifi worked. Very happy. My mother , 74, had come with us despite a back fracture (sustained elsewhere lol). The stairs were a challenge for her but we were grateful for them. The stairs and the walking we put her through was marvelous physical therapy. We owe the owners a co-pay :).

Beautiful Boston Trip

Beautiful property located in Charlestown Massachusetts. There is a bus stop right by the property and T station is a 15 minute walk. There is a whole foods, CVS, restaurants, cafes,and convenience stores all within a couple blocks. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop deck in the evening and looking at the Boston skyline. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking if you desire. 2 queen beds and a couch that can be used as a bed. We put our recent college graduate on that. Beds were comfortable but couch was not great in his opinon. We did find 2 foam pads under one of the beds that he said helped a lot. Plenty of amenities, great location, beautiful residence. The keys and locks had a bit of a learning curve. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.
