Stay on a butterfly and honey farm nestled in a coffee estate in the Panamanian Highlands. Enjoy beautiful butterflies in Panamas largest butterfly exhibit, witness native bees and colorful birds from your terrace and join us to taste 30 varietals of honey. The rooms have two luxurious queen beds and a kitchenette. We are located in walking distance to town yet in an oasis of nature.

Wonderful stay with the butterflies, birds & rainbows

We really enjoyed the casita as it was comfy, well appointed & clean. Sitting on the porch with our morning coffee, watching the butterflies & birds visit the abundance of flora was very relaxing. Thanks to All for such a wonderful stay.

Amazing property!

Thank you, Emily, for a wonderful stay! The casita was very clean and comfortable, and we absolutely loved spending g time on the porch watching all the beautiful birds in the gardens. It truly is a special place, and I look forward to visiting again!

Short Stay in Lush Boquete ...Will Return!

Visted during rainy season. Grounds were lush with beautiful plants, flowers, fruit trees and birds. Cabins were super clean and efficiently stocked. Beware...no television :). Host was accommodating and breakfast was great!

We liked the experience of observing the stages fron catepillar to butterfly. This would be excellent for a grade school age person. We enjoyed the experience of having a butterfly land on my wifes shoulder & stay for a minute....

The property is gorgeous! So many hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Taking the loop drive in the mountains of Boquete is a must. I enjoyed the Coffee plantation tour and education but the worker’s living conditions are abysmal. Where are the Fair Trade practices?

A Magical Place with the Most Amazing People

Staying with Emily at Boquete Bees and Butterflies was absolutely incredible. From the moment we booked, Emily was a fantastic host, communicating with us that she had somehow been double booked but still had and would make room for us. While we were there, there were some bad power outages and Emily found and shared information as to what was going on and even provided some candle lanterns for our casita. The property exceeded any and all expectations we may have had. The land is magical and peaceful and just makes you feel safe. It’s not far from town but you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Emily’s staff is absolutely magnificent. Every morning, Ivania greeted us with a huge smile and a yummy breakfast, remembering every morning my friend’s dietary restrictions. Even with the language barriers (aka our very broken Spanish) you could tell she really cared and was just so warm and welcoming. Emily gave us a free Butterfly Gardens tour and helped us book a honey tasting as well. Quetzal was super knowledgeable, kind, and had a great sense of humor; he did a fantastic job. I can’t say enough good things about Boquete Bees and Butterflies. If we had the time, we would have extended our stay. I would move there if I could. I will absolutely be back, no hesitation. Gracias por todo!
