This carefully renovated home offers an oversized kitchen with a gas range, a large island, and a beverage station. The large windows overlook the spacious yard. The living and dining room is separated by an antique fireplace. The rooms are spacious and well laid out within the home. There are three newly renovated bathrooms, including a first-floor bath with a walk-in shower and a large laundry room on the main level. The house is conveniently located on Route 13, close to the NH line. Please note, there is a small studio apartment at the rear of the property with separate entrances, and the parking area is shared.

We loved the house! It was great for our family. The only thing to be mindful of is the car noise outside, but that’s just what you get when the house is that close to the road. The entire house was beautiful and absolutely perfect for the sleeping of 8 adults

Immaculate quaint old farm house, totally remodeled and modernized for comfort and convenience. Our host Kayla was very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious for our family of 7.

The property was excellent. The only problem was the lack of internet on 3 of our 4 day stay. With children on our trip, we had to scramble to overcome the internet outage. Otherwise we loved the property, it was spacious, clean and had a wonderful floor plan. We also were able to meet the regular tenant and her dog and the farm workers dog also. It was the perfect property for our party.

Hi Marc, thanks for the feedback! We did upgrade our WiFi to be a mesh network so there would be a stronger WiFi at the property.

Such a beautiful place! So much room for the kids and the dog. Kitchen is beautiful as are the bedrooms. Close enough for us to explore the area comfortably. Totally recommend!

Family weekend in Townsend

Perfect house for our family of 8 plus doggo. Super clean, lots of room to spread out and comfy beds. Our host was also very responsive to any question. Thanks for a great weekend!

Beautiful Home

This house was very spacious and beautiful. We were very comfortable for the week we spent there. The owner was great we had a small issue upon check in and she came right over to resolve it. I would highly recommend this property.

Holiday get- together

We stayed for several days to visit family. Had a wonderful get-together on Saturday. The house was perfect for handling siblings, children and grandchildren. Very comfortable, beautifully decorated, up-to-date, and wonderfully spacious. Our host fantastic—responsive and helpful.

Hospitality Dream

What a great place to have family visiting with us! The rooms were all great size. The kitchen is huge and wonderful! We have family in the area and were able to have each family over on different nights. It was great to cook for them and visit with them. The beds were very comfortable and the setting with the trees all around and garden view were so much fun. We would definitely stay here again.Brenda

Nice house

Nice and big house, with a big and pretty kitchen.Bathrooms and rooms are also to good.The only comment that I have is about the WiFi connection, a lot of issues with this, and most of the time you lose connection when you are upstairs

We loved our stay at the farmhouse

We absolutely loved the house. There was more than enough room for 4 of us and 2 large dogs. The entire house has been renovated beautifully. The old charm is still there along with the modern conveniences. We too could hear the traffic noise but after a couple days it faded into the background. Kayla was so accessible and accommodated our schedule changes. We would definitely stay again.

Great for our needs

We needed a location that was close to southern NH. We wanted space to cook and host family. This place offered what we needed. Large kitchen, plenty of space. Instructions for WiFi and appliances were provided upon request, but instructions on premises are preferable. The property managers were lovely and the goats in the barn were a bonus for guests.

Farm House

Loved the house, great size, well appointed. Great for the local area including Southern NH and eastern Ma and ME. Was surprised there was another person occupying a separate area of the house. Lots of road noise. The host was very responsive.

Thoughtfully Designed Farmhouse

It was such a joy to stay at the farmhouse. It was the perfect size for 7 adults to stay comfortably with plenty of space to spread out. The host was extremely responsive and thoughtful and even brought by a beautiful bouquet of flowers. It is in a beautiful area and the farmhouse was clean and easy to access- the perfect stay for a wedding weekend. As other reviews mentioned, it is near a busy road so we recommend having a sound machine and/or face mask to help make it more comfortable if you are planning to stay in the front room. However, the road did not prevent us from having a wonderful and restful stay.

The only big problem was an infestation of flies. We broke all the fly swatters and made some from magazines. Plus we bought 2 new fly swatters and left them there.

In town for a wedding

The renovated farmhouse was both beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and well equipped. The beds are ALL king size which is one of the main reasons this place appealed to us so much. The bathrooms were very spacious as well! The only thing that is a negative is that we could hear the traffic noise since the home is so close the somewhat busy street. We would stay there again though just because it’s so spacious pretty and comfortable.
