A stone’s throw away from the beautiful West Coast beaches. The Sugarcane Suite is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house located in Sunset crest Holetown St.James. Your stay includes access to a private beach club with a pool just 2 minutes away.

Perfectly situated in the heart of Holetown, it is within walking distance of popular restaurants, bars, supermarkets, coffee shops, banks, and medical facilities.

This is what makes The Sugarcane Suite the ideal place to reside on vacation!
This cozy air-conditioned one bedroom guesthouse contains 2 twin beds that can transition into a king bed, a spacious living and dining area as well as a fully equipped kitchen for all your necessities. The patio and garden are perfect places to relax and enjoy the sunshine and West coast breeze.

We provide beach towels, bath towels, soap, and shampoo. On arrival, you will get a welcome basket full of local Bajan treats. We are approximately 2 minutes away from the local bus route.

A very nice, exceptionally clean, and functional place. It’s quaint—cozy and just the right size for two people. While not modern, it has a charming, well-kept feel. The location is great: a short walk to the beach and to beautiful beachfront pool facilities only five minutes away. We felt completely safe throughout our stay. Very reasonably priced, especially for the area.

Great Short Vaca

This was a great get away. The communication was excellent. The villa was clean and had everything I needed. The location was close to a small but beautiful beach. A few places to eat are nearby also.

Excellent location

The condo is really close to the beach, restsurants and grocery stores. The bus system was also right there to take to various locations on the island. The pool pass was also a nice touch. The premises are nothing fancy but is clean and has a tiny kitchen if one chooses to cook:)

Cozy little apartment a stone’s throw from the beach. The apartment comes with access to a beach club with a sparkling swimming pool and beautiful beachfront area. I went swimming there many times during my vacation. There’s also a 24 Hour Medical center, supermarket and several restaurants within walking distance of the property. The apartment itself was well equipped and perfect for my needs. The hostess, Jamila, was also very accommodating and pleasant to communicate with. She even left some local Barbadian sweet treats on the dinner table which were quite enjoyable. Check in and checkout instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Overall, this was a phenomenal vacation rental. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barbados.

Perfect for us

When reviewing the entirety of our stay it couldn’t have gone any better. Location was perfect. Minutes from the pool with a view of the ocean from there along with beach access. A few minutes walk from groceries, restaurants and various shopping. The suite was perfect for one couple. Communication was excellent and Jamila checked up a couple times during our stay. Download the whatsapp for regular communication on the island, it’s the most commonly used. Overall excellent.

Ideal location and very clean property

Comfortable condo..it was clean and had everything we needed…close to supermarket, and beach and places to eat. It was very expensive to eat in some restaurants but prices of drinks were on par with UK.There are no small regular shops nearby like most holiday places but if you travel to other areas you will find some. Reggae buses are a great experience! Be prepared to pay £12 each for a bed on the beach. Expensive holiday but a great experience for my first time in Barbados.

Just great!!

A block away from the beach and beach club and to a lovely village, shops and supermarket and buses to Bridgetown. All I could want was there including safety! Apartment was very clean, washer dryer worked great! Plenty of hot water! Just great!! Thank you Jamila!!

Excellent location and excellent price

The hosts are 10 out of 10 and the location was better than advertised - yes - only a stone’s throw from beach and the access to Beach club pool is right on the water - everything you need is very close - shopping, restaurants , taxi stands (and medical clinic) we wanted to be in Holetown this time which can be expensive - but the price was excellent - I couldn’t give it 5 stars because the unit had a couple of drawbacks; mainly that the sound comes through loud and clear from adjoining two units. Also there could be a few more items in the kitchen and there was a slow leak in plumbing that I an sure they will fix. However it is hard to beat the price to get a spot on the west coast

We had such a lovely time staying here! It is so close to many restaurants, shopping areas, beaches, and a grocery store. We had no problem at all walking around the area and felt very safe the entire time. The pool was such a bonus and we spent a lot of time there along with the secluded beach right next to it. This beach barely had anyone on it and was right outside of the pool’s gate. The pool also had a bar which was a plus. The condo itself was perfect and the ac was a lifesaver in the heat! We also really liked the restaurant Just Grilling, which was just right around the corner. The hosts were very attentive and answered all questions we had. Staying here had a very homey and local feel to it. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend staying here!

The beauty of this little holiday home is the location. It is literally 5 minutes walk from the centre of Holetown which includes the Beach Club, Massys Supermarket, the Chattel Village and numerous eateries. The accommodation itself is basic although, in fairness, I think this is reflected in the price. Having said that, it was clean and comfortable and the communication between the host and ourselves was prompt and effective without being intrusive.

As a female solo traveler, this place was perfect!! It was very spacious for just myself and even if it were two people! The kitchen was well equipped, there’s lots of seating outside in the patio & inside, the bed is a king size with two twins together and I thought it was very comfortable! The bathroom was a great size! There were a lot of large mirrors for girls to do their hair and makeup, good lighting, and loved the built in drawers and closet space! She provides beach towels, bath towels, and extra sheets! The only thing I would say is to bring maybe and outlet extension to plug in several things at once if there’s two people and multiple devices! I felt the area was very cute, clean, and safe! I felt very comfortable walking alone at night as well & everything is so close! Dining, grocery store, bus stops! The beach club was also so close & perfect! Beautiful view of the ocean, nice size pool, lots of seating & pool chairs! There were showers & restrooms & easy access to the beach, which felt very calm/quiet/sort of private! Theres also a little drink bar connected to the beach bar & an extension to that is a very nice high scale restaurant which I thought had great food and ambiance but I will say it is a bit pricey there! Otherwise Janelle was an amazing host who was very responsive, helpful, and kind! This place was exactly what I was looking for & will absolutely be coming back in the future! Highly recommend!!

The location was excellent, and the use of the pool was very much appreciated. Being woken up by roosters every morning at 6 am might not be for everyone, but we didn't mind much. A decent broom, dust pan, and a few basic cleaning supplies would have been nice. Jamila and Janelle were excellent hosts, just realize the place is basic but the price was right. The gentleman who sat outside our room almost daily was a bit concerning, but we had no issues with him.
