Older house in a lakefront community. Super Clean and great for small groups or families. Had everything we needed. Communication with Host was consistent and accurate. Enjoyed the stay and would absolutely rent again.

Derby Cottage is a lovely property, it was very clean with a great view. Jennifer was excellent to work with and communicated quickly every time we had a question. I would highly recommend this VRBO property. The only additional amenity that I would add is another air conditioner for the hot, humid days of a Michigan summer.

Home away from home. Perfect configuration for a family with teenagers, for there are two regular beds, a half bath and a game room in the finished basement. Jennifer, our host, provided everything we needed for a perfect visit. And she responded quickly to our pre-arrival questions.

We came to the area for a family reunion and had a great time. The house was great. Very clean loved all of the supplies and the features of the house. The only thing that was difficult was that the only air conditioner was in the living room, which made the bedrooms stuffy at night. But we made the best of it. We loved the access to the lake as well along with having kayaks right there

Gathered for wedding

The location was nice and the house was clean. Directions/rules are clearly posted as were wi-fi connection passwords which was very helpful. Furniture, flooring and mattresses are old. We did know some of this from the posted photos. If things where updated this property would really shine.

I’m glad you found the home clean despite the age of certain items. That’s one of the most important things. We just ordered some covers for the furniture to freshen them up, as I think they are still comfortable. The mattresses would be a good next thing as we are working our way through updates amongst the unseen things like the new whole house iron filter and water pump. We appreciate the input and we’ll keep striving for a better guest experience.
