Chaney Room - 1 queen bed & sleeper Sofa - Great historic 1st floor cottage Unit
Chaney was built where the original carriage house existed on property. This first floor suite enters into a living area with a queen-sized sleeper sofa allowing for more sleeping options, high top table with chairs, and a stone mounted flat screen TV. The kitchenette boasts a full-sized fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and coffee maker. Walk from the living area/kitchenette thru the historic archway into separate bedroom with a private bathroom and large walk-in shower. AC's in both the living area and the bedroom. Wi-Fi included. Outside the unit is a tranquil area with a hammock, bistro style table and chairs. Sit in the shade under a palm tree while soaking up the Caribbean warmth. Steps away from our front gate, this is a very convenient option for anyone looking to stroll around town or walk 100 feet to the some of the best scuba & snorkeling on St.Croix!

property. Uniquely situated on the waterfront in the vibrant downtown of Frederiksted
on the West Coast of St. Croix, you will be delighted by the sweeping water
views and spectacular sunsets every evening. Enjoy some of the best
beaches on the island within walking distance, and celebrate paradise. Each of our suites and studios are equipped to anticipate your every need.
**Victoria House was built in the late 18th century,
and has housed many prominent Frederiksted merchants and citizens. Its
distinctive gingerbread trim was added after the house was partially burnt in
the “Fireburn” labor insurrection of 1878. The Gardine Family has owned
it since 1946. Victoria House has recently been lovingly renovated and restored, preserving as many of the
original features as possible. Enjoy your stay in a central piece of
Caribbean history!**
We have a small staff here at Victoria House consisting of Both owners, Kevin and Lisa, our General Manager Brian, and our housekeeping staff Emily and Denisse.

Being in a renovated historic building, we are able to have historic charm while offering modern day functionality. We are also lucky to be located on the island of St. Croix, USVI in the Caribbean, which is the largest of the four main USVI islands, yet has a smaller population Than it's sister island St. Thomas. Sun, surf, sand, and scuba all while not being overcrowded! The island is also home to Cruzan Rum Distillery, Capitan Morgan Distillery, Mutiny Island Vodka Distillery, and Leatherback Brewery if you'd like a tour.
