Great location and private driveway

It has taken me some time to put thoughts together. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were in town visiting our grand kids who absolutely loved the house. Communication before check-in was great. Carol said to let her know when we woke up the next day so she could stop by. We found that odd, but rolled with it. The next morning we slept in due to a long travel day and were in a hurry to pickup our grandson from school so she made a quick trip to the house. We didnt know why she wanted to stop by but took the opportunity to point out chips on the floor, a comforter upstairs with fresh crumbs all over it, and the half drank juice in the fridge. We felt like we had walked into a home someone was living in. We also questioned the overall cleanliness given the above things. The washer and dryer could use replacement, they're both rusty and the washer has the dirty sock smell that gets on clothes you wash in it. All of this said, the home was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We just prefer things as clean as we keep them at home. Maybe charge a bigger cleaning fee so its fresh for each guest.

Favorite place to stay

This was our second stay at this property, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The house is clean and has everything we need. Carol and Allan are so friendly and wonderful hosts. We will definitely stay here on future trips to Concord.

Short Weekend Race Trip

This property is extremely clean and in a nice, small and quiet neighborhood. Close to the races and the host was amazing. We got to meet our host at the house for a walkthrough and she showed us around and was available if anything came up. Will definitely use again next year if available.

Cozy house

Spacious cozy house in a quiet safe location. We enjoyed our stay while visiting family and grandchildren. The owner responded to my questions within minutes. No long list of things to do before checkout.

My husband and I purchased this entire parcel in 2000 and following a dream that my husband had of building a unique 'Village' of rental properties reflective of the San Francisco 'Painted Ladies' we now have a beautiful combination of townhomes and single family homes, all yellow with window boxes on the property. Then ,a few years ago, we added this beautiful home on the back of the property with the idea of creating a fully furnished and beautifully decorated, ready to move into, home for short term rental.

We decided to build this home as a rental property to fill a need we saw in the market for Executive Rental property which is fully furnished and decorated, to appeal to vacationers coming to the Charlotte area, to Grandparents from out of state coming for a week or month, and for people transitioning to the area who need an alternative to staying in a motel.
