Spacious Beach Residence w Backyard Pond & Hot Tub

Plenty of space, a zen-like decor, premium and eco-friendly atmosphere. Wave a friendly hello to the calm neighborhood on your morning walks, live your own little NatGeo journalist life documenting the pond life, or lounge with a local craft beer and end the day with a personal hot tub. All the while using nothing but energy from the sun!

PERMIT#BLRE002418

The space
- Solar panels to completely power the house
- Ice cold AC! And a heater for those chilly winter nights
- 75" HDTV with a 5.1 sound system in the living room with Netflix and Hulu
- 48" HDTV in the 2nd bedroom with Netflix and Hulu
- 5 person hot tub/jacuzzi
- Beach necessities: towels, umbrella, chairs, bodyboards

Guest access
The whole house is yours! Only a part of the garage is used for keeping personal belongings and cleaning supplies.

Other things to note
There is a train that passes by very close to the home. If you are very sensitive to sound, I wouldn't advise staying at my place. They typically don't run past 10 pm. Some instances of a train passing by at midnight are possible, but no later than that.

Perfect place for us, absolutely loved the backyard. It has a small pond behind the backyard, so we saw many birds. We enjoyed the zen feeling through out the rooms. Two bedrooms have a nice bathroom and shower, and there is an extra small half bathroom for the third room. Kitchen was well stocked, nice bbq, parking and easy access to the beach. Very good communication.

Great stay

We were very impressed with this property. It was rainy so we didn't get to take advantage of the backyard as much as we would have liked as it is awesome!

Beautiful Property

Beautiful Property in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. It was a bit chilly when we stayed, so the hot tub was much appreciated. The yard is huge and great for enjoying the sun, and the house has a great open floorplan to allow everyone to be together. We will definitely stay there again.

Carlsbad Cozy

The home was perfect for our multi-gemerational getaway for my mom's 95th in the area. The house spacious for us with many things to do inside and out. It was also only a short walk to the beach and a quick drive into Legoland. We would gladly stay again if coming to the area.

Clean and tranquil

Place is super clean and nice. Bed is comfortable and everything works. Very quiet and convenient neighborhood close to a lot of things. Overall you feel safe staying here and its well stocked. This didn’t bother us much but I can see where some no people maybe annoyed by it. There is a commuter train track that goes behind the property across the creek. It doesn’t run on the weekend but it runs from 6am-10pm Monday through Friday, sometimes multiple times in a hour. If your patio door is open, its loud as hell but its barely noticeable with the window and door closed (good quality glass)

Great house - short walk to beach

My family (2 adults, 4 teens) enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The house was VERY clean and well-stocked with all the essentials. Lots of space for all of us to hang out together or separately, without ever feeling like we were on top of one another. There are tv’s in the living area and the front bedroom, but none in the primary bedroom or the bunk room (which was a little disappointing given we asked ahead and were told there were TVs in every room). Terramar Beach is right up the road, accessible by staircase, but unfortunately was covered with seaweed the entire week- so we opted to drive to a couple of nearby beaches just north and it worked out well. Overall, a great house with fantastic indoor/outdoor space to relax.

Thank you for your detailed review! We’re glad your family enjoyed the space and found the house clean and well-stocked. We appreciate your feedback about the TVs, and we’re sorry for any miscommunication. We definitely didn’t mean to misguide you and likely mistook the home for another. As an apology, we’d be happy to cover the next cleaning fee at any of our homes. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
