Great spot for a stay

Very nostalgic property that was perfect for our group. Very easy check in and out process, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend.

Awesome house

This property was perfect in every way for our family. It was so clean and orderly and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer. Would recommend this property for any large family group.

We ate several meals at the property. One of the guests is a chef, so she was disappointed in the pans, serving bowls, mixing bowls, etc. she had brought several things from home. So loved the location and the space in the house.

Great stay & location

Just as pictured! It held 3 large families and we had a Great Lake weekend. It’s hard to find a place that holds this many people and it’s not a Bunch of twin beds stacked in rooms.

The house was perfect for my family to stay during a wedding weekend. The kids had plenty of room to play. The beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms for 6 adults and three kids.

Our dream wedding location

My now (husband) and I rented this beautiful property to host our 35 person wedding and it was more than we could’ve ever imagined. The backyard was stunning and full of life! The house had the most stunning character!!! Wish we could just move in!!!!!!

Nice and comfy home

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was big enough to accommodate our group of 15. The beds were comfortable and everyone liked having their own space. Not very many pots,pans and mixing bowls. We just went and bought some. The communication with the owner was fantastic. The yard is wonderful, with privacy. The location is wonderful!! We rented a boat and enjoyed Lake Norfolk. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Mountain Home.

great space close to everything

plenty space. clean everything. fantastic backyard. minor complaint that very few cooking pots. but, most people probably go out to eat. We just bought some. Had a problem at checkout that housekeeping said they were scheduled for 10am and went right to it!!!! Our checkout time per VRBO was 11am. Stressed out my son!!

Great Property!

Our family rented this home for the eclipse weekend. It was perfect. The home is huge and fit our family well so everyone had their own space. It was very clean, and we loved the 70s vibe of the home. The fire pit was great, and we enjoyed watching March Madness games in the family room downstairs. As other reviewers mentioned, there are not many serving bowls or pots if you are planning to cook for a large group. We brought a few things with us after reading the reviews, and we were great. The bathrooms were stocked well with Shampoo and soaps. We appreciated the stocked coffee bar in the kitchen. It was great to be able to bring our dog with us too. I would love to stay here again.
