Visit Hana and is highly encouraged please keep in mind if planning to camp you just have a reservation at one of the 4 campgrounds available this out of respect for the local land owners and residents who value their ability to live away from tourism
Or travel up crater road that leads to the summit of Haleakala /
If visiting the summit inhave a close friend who offers to take my guests on a private tour for a sunset view at the top of Haleakala with hot chocolate and star gazing
