Cozy House in Quiet Neighborhood

We spent Christmas here. The hosts were wonderful; they even decorated the house for us so that it felt very homey. The house comfortably slept 6 adults, though gathering all of us around the table was a bit tight. We had some issues with getting in the house because of some sort of SNAFU with the electric locks, but the hosts were very quick to call and let us know where to locate physical keys. The neighborhood itself was still in rough shape after Helene, but we were able to walk around to explore the nature preserve (about 30 min walk) and a local park with a playground (about 20 min walk). It was also a quick drive to Biltmore and Downtown Asheville. All in all, I recommend the house and hosts wholeheartedly. It was a great experience, and we'd stay here again if we were to go back to Asheville.

A few items for those who read reviews. Very pleasant and clean and well kept. Great kitchen! It has about 8 steps up to enter for those with mobility issues. There is no garage so don’t open it. Mary and Scott were great.

Casa Amarilla

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The pictures do no justice to the house, it was more beautiful and spacious than the pics showed. Enjoyed the firepit and the privacy and fenced in yard for my dogs. Check in and getting into the house was very easy and convenient. The owner was readily available for any and all questions that I had and responded promptly. The house was clean and had adequate supplies for each bathroom and the kitchen and other rooms, as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We had planned to stay several nights but because of recent storms water was out in the whole area.

The home was beautiful, very clean, beds comfortable and the owner was fabulous to work with. Quick to respond and refunded our entire stay because water was out in the entire area. We will definitely book again. Gorgeous fenced back yard and really nice screened porch so sad we were unable to stay.
