*4 SEASONS COTTAGE*Best location in The Kawarthas. Brand New Luxury custom built cottage just finished, enjoy swimming, fishing and ice fishing in winter right off the dock, west exposure provides the best sunset, bon fires lake side, all lifejackets and water shoes provided, tankless bbq, large Hottub, boathouse with games room, pool table, ping pong, poker table, all brand new mattresses and beddings.

Our newest Cottage, Located on sturgeon Lake in the village of Bobcaygeon in the Heart of Kawartha Lakes

To help maintain a peaceful environment for everyone in the neighbourhood, please take a moment to review the local noise by-laws:
No amplified noise (e.g., music or stereos) between 11:00 PM and 11:00 AM
No shouting, yelling, or playing instruments between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM
No persistent pet noise (like barking) at any time

Located 3 min by car or boat from the Village of Bobcaygeon which has everything you need for your vacation, LCBO, Beer Store, Tim Hortons, grocery store, amazing restaurants and bars on Main Street. You will be in the heart of the Kawarthas

The village of Bobcaygeon is a 3 minute car ride.

ABSOLUTELY NO OUTDOOR FIRES are permitted at the cottage from April 1st to May 1st.The ban is strictly enforced by the City of Kawartha Lakes to ensure the safety of our community and environment.

Lovely house and plenty of space for the three families with young children who spent the weekend together. Primary bedroom is huge with king bed but note other three adult bedrooms have only full beds. Gorgeous sunsets sitting lakeside and grocery and LCBO 5 minutes away. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, the cottage was beautiful and we loved the games room.

The house was clean. The laneway to the property was well plowed (wintertime rental). the games room had lots of fun options. The hot tub was a lovely escape from the cold weather. Unfortunately, the severe ice storm that occurred part way through our stay became an issue when no road or property maintenance was done to mitigate the potentially dangerous conditions. We did message the VRBO contact about the situation, they responded many hours later saying, "I think the guy will come later". No one ever showed up, and it was up to me to heavily salt any areas where we would be walking so that we could move about. As the road leading to the house was a private lane and not serviced by the city. i would have hoped that this sort of safety maintenance would have been taken care of by someone other than me.

Girls getaway

Beautiful modern cottage, stunning views. Clean and well stocked. There are three bathrooms but only TWO showers, and not three as per the listing. There are two rain shower heads in the ensuite bath on the main level, and a two piece bathroom in the laundry room, also on main level. The four bedrooms on the ground level all share one bathroom with a shower. The hot tub is around the side if the cottage, not very close to any doors.

Family Get Away

Overall a beautiful property. A few details should probably be updated on the listing (only 2 showers, the main has a double head shower but not ideal for multiple family use) and some repairs need to done around the property. The Hot Tub was not fully functioning when we stayed here and was pretty dirty/smelly after just 2 days of use, even while making sure we were clean before going in. The outdoor shower drain was backed up and some of the games in the outdoor shed were broken. Some of the outdoor furniture could be replaced. It could have had a better cleaning before our stay but overall a very beautiful spot. Great time spent with family here that we will always remember.

Inaccurate listing and information

This property is listed as “brand new luxury, just finished”, this property was not brand new, just finished this year. The walls inside were dirty, the furniture was very dirty and roughly used, carpet on the stairs was filthy. “all brand new beds” is not accurate. The mattress that we slept on was very uncomfortable and caved in the middle. The bunk beds are very noisy, likely not assembled well. The property lists 3 bathrooms, all with showers. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 have a shower, 1 is a toilet in the laundry room (no shower or vanity, just a laundry tub). I specifically asked the host about the depth of water off the end of the dock, their reply was “around 5ft”, the depth of the water was just above my knees not even 2 ft deep. This was very disappointing and misrepresented. There were zebra mussels covering the lake bottom that we were not notified about.
