This peaceful neighborhood with views of Lake Washington and the Landing (literally a landing of small jets by the water) is close to everything. Not only to the cities of Seattle, Bellevue, and Seatac Airport, Rainier Avenue is a north-south thoroughfare that gets you to all conveniences. The nearby Landing shopping plaza and Westfield Southcenter are complete with all kinds of restaurants and shopping that range from the upscale to the budget. Lots of parks and trails around Lake Washington. Kubota Garden may be a hidden gem in the nearby Valley.
Most people enjoy the ease of driving to their destinations from here. Free parking at the house makes it easy for you to choose. Of course, this is not central Seattle and commute traffic on I-5 and 405 are now famous, so all these are things to keep in mind. The typical 20 minute drive to Seattle could easily double during hours of high traffic, so check traffic patterns. Public transportation to Seattle and Eastside all right here. Use King County Trip Planner or Moovit for specifics. Bus at the corner of the house gets you to the nearby grocers, shopping center, transit center, lightrail.

If you have the luxury of some leisure time in the neighborhood, walk or ride over to Lake Washington a short ways away, watch views of the lake, Mt. Rainier, and people(!) from lakeside parks and trails, fancy restaurants, and Starbucks hangouts. Shop till you drop with 2 large plazas (the Landing and Westfield) nearby too! Enjoy!

The upstairs, open concept with living room, dining area, and kitchen can accommodate your group while you enjoy looking out at Lake Washington. Upstairs also houses the master bedroom and master bathroom, another half bath, two bonus areas, and access to the deck.
Downstairs has three bedrooms and a full bath.

SEATTLE/RENTON/AIRPORT & FREE PARKING
Drive to downtown Seattle: 20-25 minutes if no congestion; 12 miles. Drive to Seattle Tacoma Airport: 12-15 minutes; 8 miles.
Drive to Renton's The Landing, Southcenter Mall, Boeing, and highway on-ramp to Bellevue: a few minutes.
Bus at the corner of the house. Take this bus then a transfer to downtown Seattle. You can also take this bus to nearby lightrail station (4 miles away. No parking at Rainier Beach station and parking is available at the Tukwila station lot if you can beat the commuters) or the Renton Transit Center (2 miles away and you can also drive and park there), both spots have plenty of public transportation to take you to Seattle, the airport etc.

Those who have used public transportation from the home find it very easy, but driving is always the easiest. Just be aware that while parking off street at this home is free and hassle-free, parking in downtown Seattle will cost you a pretty penny and sometimes more time than it's worth. WITHIN 5 MINUTES: ATTRACTIONS & AMENITIES
When not visiting Seattle's typical attractions or working long hours during your stint here, you may want to sample the upscale restaurants, shops, or work out at the nearby Landing, walk around Lake Washington and see the small planes slide across water, visit local trails and parks. Lots of Starbucks and coffee afficiandos' hangout spots here too of course! Seattle is latte-land!
Two blocks from the house, along the main thoroughfare Rainier Avenue, are small general stores, a laundromat, and a Thai restaurant in case you need them. (There are many more better alternatives that I would try by driving or taking the bus, so these are only good for dire needs.)
