Arch Capella - Oceanfront!

Prepare to have a wonderfully relaxing vacation in this charming, ocean-front home located in Arch Cape, Oregon. Just a few miles south of Cannon Beach, this home is called Arch Capella and is only available for 30 day rentals. A few steps from a delightfully unpopulated beach, sleep restfully with the sounds of the ocean. Explore tide pools at low tide, and enjoy fabulous sunsets while sitting on the patio overlooking the ocean.

Arch Capella sleeps six. This single story home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and attached master bath. The second bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with the laundry area and a second bath next door. The living room has a wood-burning fireplace (**non-operational at this time**) and a wall of windows with stunning ocean views.

A fully equipped kitchen and a dining table for 6 connect to the living room so you can enjoy the view from anywhere. Arch Capella also offers cable TV, and Wi Fi, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a one-car carport.

The location of Arch Capella is ideal for family entertainment, with Cannon Beach, Seaside, and Manzanita within easy driving distance. Whether you want a quiet hideaway to get away from the rat race, or you want comfortable lodging for an active vacation, this getaway on the ocean offers a wealth of vacation possibilities for everyone.

Absolutely breathtaking!

The house was absolutely gorgeous, cozy, and the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle! Beautiful view, easy drive to the heart of Cannon Beach and we were often the only people on the beach!

Perfect landing spot for a beach trip

Cozy with everything we needed. Arch Cape area/neighborhood is amazing, we almost had the whole beach to ourselves the whole week! Property management company very helpful, easy to communicate with, gave great suggestions for local eats and outings.

We loved our stay at Arch Capella. The location was fantastic, overlooking the Pacific. Access to the beach is only three houses down the road. It's a short walk down the beach to tide pools and the arches. The house layout was quirky, but the bed was very comfortable and the living room cozy and bright (no way to block out sun from those huge walls of windows, so it could get hot if it's a hot day outside, but you're on the Pacific so pretty breezy and balmy). We had bunny visitors on the lawn each morning, and enjoyed sitting out there in the evening watching the sun set. Saw so many pelicans. Very relaxing trip.

Terrible! The owner tried to provide all the things that are expected and necessary for a vacation rental except a house that was well constructed and had comfortable furniture. This dwelling was not acceptable. I was constantly uncomfortable except for the bed which was good. And the house did not have safe and secure access to the beach. Large stones that made navigating to the beach unsafe.

Best sleep in years!

We loved our stay at Arch Capella. The views are unparalleled and the secluded Arch Cape neighborhood offered a much needed escape from the daily grind. The hedges along the back yard are taller now than what’s depicted, so the view is more obstructed. And the seating arrangement in the living room left something to be desired. We also had occasional trouble with the internet connection. But any of these minor inconveniences were easily outweighed by being lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean in an extremely comfortable mattress, the ocean views, and close proximity to Cannon Beach and Manzanita. We will absolutely be back.

Very Cozy Getaway

Enjoyed it and it’s just as advertised. Had a bit of an issue getting the door to work with the code but figured it out. The visible caution tape at the edge of the yard was a distraction - would suggest a thin railing and warning signs rather than caution tape stretching the length of the ocean view. Understand the safety measure though.

Winter stay

1950 redo with extension. Very cool family space and dorm room. Master has 3/4 view of the ocean. Bathrooms are dated’ mid 70’s. Front of house is not attractive. Back yard is fine. Beach access is 3 houses down. The fees were a surprise and higher than we’ve seen in other verbo rentals. We had a great time.

suggestions for improvement

1 no shades on bank of west facing windows allowed home to get very warm and with no screens on doors we couldn’t get air flow to cool it down 2 the dishwasher definitely too loud - it needs work 3 the water pressure in the east shower is pitiful ! it takes more than three minutes to get warm and never gets hot 4 the bushes in front of the west windows (which are not shown in the photos of the property) obscure 30% of the ocean view 5 cell service is limited - this would be OK if mentioned up front 6 no network TV availableand no instructions for use of the remotes
