This listing is for a beachfront villa—1 of 4 overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on a swimming beach, at Coco Plum Beach & Tennis Club & Marina. You will stay in units 1, 2, 3, or 4; the exact villa number is provided on your arrival day. Each villa offers an inviting open plan, living & dining space, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide stunning ocean views enhancing the serene coastal ambiance.

Cocoplum sits on a rare Florida Keys beach and zero-edge pool overlooking both the Atlantic and the sandy shore. It’s an ideal spot for family reunions or two couples traveling together. Enjoy deep-water docks along a protected canal (with water and electricity), a heated swimming pool (heated from Dec 20 to March 30 and is just not necessary at any other time of the year. with ocean views and a jacuzzi. Located at mile marker 54.5 in the central Florida Keys, the property enjoys great year-round weather perfect for fishing, diving, & relaxing in the tropical climate.

Please note: Motorized watercraft, including boats, jet skis, & all motorized toys—are not permitted on the beach. Most guests stay for 7 nights, arriving and departing any day of the week, though shorter stays (3 to 6 nights) may be available on request.

The 2-bedroom, 2-bath vacation home is fully furnished, offering a full kitchen & dining area, a master bedroom with a queen bed, a guest room with a queen & twin bed, and a family room with a queen-size sofa bed (sleeps up to six). Additional amenities include 3 flat-screen cable TVs, a spacious screened porch, & a private laundry room. We include high speed comcast fiber Wi-Fi throughout the property. On the ground floor you’ll find the utility area with washer, dryer, bait freezer and storage. Exterior stairs lead to the main entrance on the first floor (dining, kitchen, kitchen, balcony), while an interior spiral staircase takes you to the second floor (living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, wet bar). No elevators on site.

Had a great stay in Marathon. Home was well equipped and had everything we needed. Unfortunately for us, there was a large sea weed die off and the beach was not usable, no fault of the hosts. Hope to visit again when the sea weed has cleared up.

Nice place nice view

The location and view were great. I gave it a 4 stars instead of a 5 because it is a little dated. The pictures and description do however accurately describe the place. The air conditioning in the upstairs, where the bedrooms are was not working properly when we arrived and there was condensation dripping from the ceiling in the kitchen (1st level). I contacted the host and they immediately replied that someone would come to take care of it. It was very warm upstairs when we returned from dinner. I messaged the host again (around 8:30pm) and they immediately replied that they would send a technician to fix the AC the next day and offered another villa for us to sleep in that night. We didn’t take them up on the offer but we appreciated it and the quick response. The technician didn’t arrive until around noon the next day and they did offer again for us to use another villa. We were not hanging out inside so we didn’t need to do that but again, we appreciated it. After the technician left we had no other issues. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need (except a cutting board). The only thing we didn’t like was that the living room area with the tv was on the second level and the kitchen was on the first level so it made hanging out and having drinks kind of a pain but again this is clearly shown in the listing.

Perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beach house in Marathon! The location is perfect — right in the heart of the Florida Keys, perfectly situated between Islamorada and Key West. It made day trips and exploring the area super convenient.We chose an oceanfront booking and well worth it - the views are spectacular. Don't miss the sunrises - see pic.The house itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The private beach was beautiful — quiet, relaxing, and just steps from the house. We spent hours soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean breeze. The pool and hot tub were highlights too — perfect for relaxing in the evenings after a day of adventure.Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a laid-back experience in the Keys. We can't wait to come back!

Relaxation and renewal of friendship

Great place for sun, warmth and relaxation. it was indeed very family oriented, no loud parties. The layout of my villa was not convenient because ALL the bedrooms AND bathrooms are on the second floor and the winding staircase was not good for our group of old ladies. I asked for a beach-facing villa (#2 or #3) but I was given #1, even though #2 appeared to be empty during my entire stay. Also puzzled why management refused to reveal the villa # I was assigned before check-in. Very strange. But the owners were friendly and accommodating during our stay.

Excellent location

We were in Villa 3, right in the beach! Perfect! The property is not handicap accessible as the only way to get to the villa is by going up a set of stairs. Although there are chair lifts to help those needing assistance in & out of pool and hot tub. My son loved the screened in porch, my husband and daughter loved the beach and I loved the pool. The only way to access the washer and dryer was by going outside since it is located under the villa. Not ideal when it's hotter than the devil during the day The furniture in the living room was soooo uncomfortable! The beds were pretty comfy though. I feel they should remodel the villas to remove the spiral staircase as it took up so much room in the middle of the living room. And we had a glass table upstairs that was pointless - the kitchen was on the first floor and most people aren't likely to take their food up the spiral staircase. Anyhow. I did notice on day one as I was drying my hair in the master bath, there was a stand of hair on the ceiling and on the wall above the sink. Not sure how it got to there but that should've been cleaned before our arrival. Each bath comes with several washclothes, hand towels and 4 bath towels so that was nice. Overall, a great experience and will highly recommend Coco Plum!

Loved this place!

Very quiet. Private beach, which my kids (13 and 19) loved. Amazing view! Lots to do on the island. We went parasailing, snorkeling, and fishing. Great food nearby. Would love to come back.

Inaccurate Listing

States that property is “quiet,” but we were kept awake past 1:00am four of the nights. No one is on property to make sure it’s quiet, so we had to constantly text employees in the middle of the night for them to take care of it. VRBO was not helpful at all.

Great location

Great place to stay. Needs to describe the circular staircase is very hard to get suitcases to the bedroom. Very narrow and steep. With the kitchen downstairs you had to make sure you had everything before heading up stairs. 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom was great to have. View from unit 2 great as it is right by the pool then you have the beach just steps away. Kitchen ceiling tiles need work.

Wonderful family vacation. Our grand daughters loved the beach, shells, sand and sun. The pool and hot tub were great also. Management was very friendly and accommodating. Great trip.

Week in Marathon

This is a perfect spot for anyone who loves an amazing view of the ocean and appreciates the benefits of a private spot on the beach. Not too many complaints, if any. Initially, there were a few issues with the internet access but the staff was excellent at addressing it and resolving the issue. The equipment was a bit dated -- I recommend bringing your own Roku or other streaming device if you plan to stay in during the evenings and watch movies, also, some of the kitchen equipment didn't work or there were minor issues with the outlets in the kitchen. Nothing major. Given the location and the fact that we came for exactly that and the views, not the amenities, I do recommend this property and would return should we stay in Marathon again.

Loved the property. Loved being right on the beach. Marathon is an easy island to get around. Had to call to understand where washer/dryer was - it would be nice on the welcome paperwork if someone pointed this out. Property was great.

What a find! Loved the house, beach, pool and hot tub. Fabulous views - especially sunrise on the beach. Will be back. One note -with all the stairs it’s not a home for those with mobility issues. Clean and well maintained. Well stocked kitchen.

Great location

Found property when looking for beach front and pool options to please both couples. Upon walking in unit smelled clean but found a dead cockroach in main dining room first floor. Older facility that could use some updating but it worked for the few nights we stayed and location was fantastic. No beach/pool towels available in unit; property offers you to purchase a “souvenir towel” for $25 but we went to local store and bought some cheap ones that did the trick.

Marathon is considered the heart of the Florida Keys! Go deep sea or backcountry fishing, sailing, diving, or snorkeling at an incredible coral reef, then unwind at nearby restaurants. Key West, known for its vibrant history and endless shopping, is 54 miles south. At least one guest in each group must be 25 years old or older. Maximum occupancy is six per villa, including children; day visitors are not permitted. Only registered guests can use the resort’s amenities, maintaining its intimate character. The resort sits right on the Atlantic beach. The front four units are “Beach Front” (most expensive), followed by six “Palm Court” villas (moderately priced), eight “Key Lime Grove” villas (best value), and finally two “Tropical Island” villas (least expensive), which overlook the tennis courts and are only a brief walk to the beach and pool. Traveling with a large group? Multiple villas can be booked on the same property for extended families, friends, or corporate retreats.
