Live in an intimate, 8-acre private wildlife sanctuary which combines the wilderness of a dry zone forest with luxurious modern-day comforts. Mahoora Wilpattu is set where animanls roam nearby & birds and butterflies gather by the camp’s lake which is surrounded by a bush forest. Fall asleep in Sri Lanka’s Largest Luxury Safari Tent and wake up to a private sunrise and a cup of tea in a secluded patch of forest life.

    Loud music, missing facilities and no response

    We planned to stay for 3 nights but we left a night earlier due to loud techno music in the neighbourhood ( weddings are organised closeby according to the staff) till after 3 am both nights! We booked on the promise that there would be a baby cot but it was trashed by monkeys who broke into the tent days before, didnt give us a safe feeling, furthermore there was no baby high chair as listed. Due to the lack of sleep we left. We asked for a refund of the last night but no response from the company and vrbo can't help. There was no effort from the staff or company to help us out or to compensate or to support us in anyway.

    Underwhelming

    Just many smaller details that was off, like asking us to come for coffee before safari 5.15am and then no staff, or coffee, is there for 20 minutes. Would have been nice to sleep instead

    Dans la forêt

    Belle expérience de camping très amélioré. Ballades à pied avec guide et safari super intéressants grâce au guide en particulier. Dans le camping, un peu plus attrape touriste qu’ailleurs au Sri Lanka : apéro payant obligatoire, surtout organisation transfert départ à faire soi même avant d’arriver car plus trop de wifi sur place

    This is a really well ran camp. Probably the most organised place that we stayed in in Sri Lanka. The area is very peaceful and safe and the tent very comfortable! The complimentary afternoon tea each day was a nice touch with some freshly cooked local delicasies. The safari was fantastic and the dinner each evening was the nicest food that we ate in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend

    It gives me great pleasure that you are reading this page , as most probably you are interested in booking an “Experiential Space” under the Eco Team Group , founded by me. Though I may not be there to welcome each one of you personally, my able team will take care of you the same as me or even better . . It’s high time that we, as the key tourism industry stakeholders, understand our responsibility when it comes to creating accommodation and expenses. We should not limit our creativity and only flock to where everyone else is going. We should have the courage, creativity and grit to go to places that seldom others go to and create a successful, creative and sustainable Tourism Experience.
