Our condo is nestled in the heart of Kihei, on the sunny South Shore of Maui, where breathtaking white sand beaches are at your doorstep! Enjoy the excellent swimming, kite surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and whale watching!
The property is adjacent to the ancient Hawaiian coastal fish pond of Ko`ie`ie, a historic landmark still used to this day for fishing and recreation. Within the protection of the fish pond's walls and offshore reefs, swimmers enjoy the calmer surf, learn to snorkel and when lucky, spot some anae (mullet), awa (milkfish) and honu (sea turtles).
A private swimming pool is also on the grounds, next to a sun bathing deck, floor shuffleboards, picnic tables and grills. Dotted with palm trees and well-manicured grass, the grounds are perfect for strolling, socializing or sunning.
Views are stunning from multiple locations around the property. From the condo, the master bedroom and the lanai (balcony) have spectacular views of the sunset, the beach park, and the changing colors of the morning light. The oceanfront restaurant overlooks the ancient fish pond, pool area and beach. On the rooftop deck, the lounge and grill area show panoramic views of the ocean and the slopes of the 10,023-ft. dormant volcano Mt. Haleakalā, which the Hawaiians named "House of the Sun."
Guests enjoy the convenience of this centrally-located property. It is right along South Kihei Road with direct access to the rest of South Maui (Kihei, Wailea and Makena), peppered with gorgeous beaches and delicious restaurants. Being on the Northern end of Kihei, guests can easily travel to Kaanapali or Kapalua for site seeing, or drive into "town" (Kahului) to get to Costco or the airport, or travel easily to the upcountry or the Road to Hana.
