Owners hoover and show up unannounced
The property was great, clean and well kept. On our 2nd day the owner showed up unannounced. It was uncomfortable because it was right after breakfast and we were trying to get ready for day. She said she didn't know people were there at house, however our vehicle was in driveway per instructions and she rang the doorbell. She said she had to put new permit in house even though permit didn't expire for a week; butwe tried to give benefit of doubt and tried to make small talk and be polite. She then began to ask us several questions about what our plans were and why we choose CdA area and how long we were going to be at "her"house, yes she said "How long will you be in my house?". Once our body language started to show we were a bit uncomfortable with all of her questions she eventually left. Later same day my husband went to the store and a man showed up sitting at end driveway looking at house. I called my sister (whom lives in CdA and we were visiting) and told her about the man. My sister came over and man left as soon as she showed up. As a result we hardly left the house because I didn't feel comfortable leaving our stuff after the two encounters. Really disappointed on how uncomfortable the owners made us feel. It was a nice property too and we didn't do anything crazy or obnoxious; everyone in bed by 9:30p first night. I don't know what we did but she & man drove by several times slow looking at house.
