July 4th Stay
The location of the rental was great, and the space itself had potential to be very nice. The host was also very responsive throughout the stay, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience fell short due to several issues.Upon arrival, the master bathroom toilet was clogged and unusable, and both showers drained so poorly that they quickly filled like bathtubs during use. When I let the host know, I was asked to go to the store to purchase a plunger and hand soap (none was provided), which was not ideal after traveling. Although we were reimbursed, it was inconvenient to handle that ourselves.The cleanliness left a lot to be desired—there was visible mold on the windows, dirty towels, and a general lack of attention to detail. The ice maker barely produced any ice, and the beds were extremely firm—some of the most uncomfortable I’ve encountered in a rental.Additionally, the cleaning supplies were located behind the designated parking spot, and we were asked to move our car multiple times during our stay so the cleaners could access them. This was frustrating, especially since there was only one spot provided.With some attention to maintenance, cleanliness, and guest convenience, this could be a great rental. But unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
