No WiFi. This cute and comfy blend of old and new can easily be your home away from home on the Iron Range. We are all about the outdoors here, and the full basement and yard with garage makes the outdoors easily accessible. Located in the middle of the Mesabi Trail we are walking distance to grocery, laundry, restaurants, and all that Chisholm has to offer. The lake in town is great for fishing, and McCarthy Beach is only a short drive. Chisholm, as many iron range towns, has a rich history of boom and bust with a Main Street (Lake) walking tour and Mining museum right in town. The Discovery Center right across the freeway is free on Thursday nights and will give you all the history of mining and the people who made the area what it is that you will want to know! We love the homey comfort of this house, and the quiet older neighborhood it’s located in and hope you will, too.

It was all such an easy process and the owner was very quick with response. We were even able to check in early. Very accommodating and would highly recommend the cute cozy little 2 bedroom for a getaway!

This house was older but cozy,clean and just right for a stay in a small town,i recommend it. Nice and quiet. I will check out this property if i need to stay here again. The price is great compared to the pricey hotels

Great little house

Great location for exploring the iron range. Lots of beautiful places nearby. The house was clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is safe and the neighbors are friendly!

Great place to stay in the Mesabi area

We enjoyed our stay here as it had everything we needed. It was pretty much our base as each day we would head out and explore a different area of the range. Great communication with the host as they kept us informed of the check-in process and answered the one question we had very promptly. We have it on our list for next time we want to visit the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Small cute little house with garage for storage of all your toys while visiting. House had what you needed and she even brought us clean towels in the middle of the stay.

Cozy is right

Cute little house in older neighborhood. Check in was a breeze and the house was everything that it was said to be. Very comfortable and everything you need was there. Would highly reccomend.

I enjoyed my stay here. This property is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and the neighbor next door is friendly. The house had everything we needed to prepare and eat our meals with the food we brought. It was a perfect place to stay during our visit to several MN state parks in the region. It is a great value and the host was easy to communicate with. I'm glad we stayed here rather than a hotel.

We stay at you lovely cottage on our way up north. We were trailing our SXS and Danni made it easy to park them and have them secured for the night. We were pleasantly surprised at the house and it’s accommodation’s. It was a pleasant way to stay for one night. We appreciate it and will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the stay.

I love the Iron Range, and love helping other people know it’s best features, too. I’m a homeschooling mom of 8 that enjoys the outdoors and travel. We spend a few months a year taking our kids to see new places and people, and the rest of the year we explore the Iron Range.

The Minnesota mountains of the Iron Range are as beautiful and untamed as the 100s of lakes you can easily trek to from this great location. Activities abound like canoeing the boundary waters, down hill biking, snowmobiling, birding, ice fishing, and so much more! In town, Chisholm is small and the neighborhoods are close knit. The quiet evenings make it feel like the middle of the woods instead of a city. On the other hand, everything you need is right here. Grocery, gas, laundry, library, bar, gym, delicious restaurants and soon to open cafe, all walking distance from the house.

この宿泊施設の特徴

808 is lovely in its timeless simplicity. Most of the fixtures, doors, floors, etc, are original to the 1925 build of the house. What has been updated is in the Mid Century Modern style with clean lines and a good coat of millennial gray accents. The space is tiny and open floor plan with a large kitchen for the space. Even with the midmod stark lines and hardwood, the feel is still comfy and cozy, with lots of blankets to curl up with for movie night or puzzles by candlelight.
