Thank you for the review and the opportunity to address your points, all valid. When a house like Oceans Nine rents, we might have 4 guests or 24 guests. We try to anticipate what the average guest party size is going to be. This is how we prepare baths and some kitchen items. Since your request, we doubled towel count from two people per room to four per room. These are for pool and bath. Large beach towels should be provided by guests. Kitchen stocking has changed since Covid. Most management companies do not recommend leaving “basics” as we did prior. So most everything we provide can be close to 100% guaranteed safe and sealed. The Piggly Wiggly is a little over a mile away and has everything else. Also, any guest can call Fickling if more of anything we provide is needed. We love turning negatives into positives and people who give us feedback as you did, allow us to improve with each and every guest stay. Thank you for your business and please come again.

We appreciate the review and so glad you were able to experience what drew us to the show property a few years ago. Gulf Coast Vacation Properties is a great property management company and we will pass along your compliments to them on how clean they keep Oceans Nine.

We absolutely appreciate when guests take the time to provide feedback which we can respond in writing to but also take away action items to help us always make Oceans 9 the best 9 bedroom on the beach front. To be clear, we do describe and show pictures of all 9 Bedrooms. We also discuss the renovation of this SGI original home. We show pictures of each room so bed type can be understood. Top floor has 5 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen, 1 triple twin and one bunk). Each living room provides a queen pull out sofa in addition to bedrooms. 4 baths service the 5 BR. Lower floor contains four bedrooms(3 Kings and one bunk). 3.5 baths support these 4. The house has indoor games with AC and a larger game room was built in our former garage and it has an open air flow concept with fans as needed. If it gets too hot, ten steps away is the beachfront pool. We replace outdoor furniture annually due to heavy winds and salt air. Our lift is going to be installed very soon for assisting people who struggle with a flight of steps. Good suggestion. Thank you for coming. If you come back, you will see lots of new additions. We generally replace outdoor items in the spring.

Thank you again for taking the time to review Oceans Nine, our property manager and me! We all work together to deliver an experience worthy of a top rating. St George Island is the anti-crowded beach destination, which is what we so love about it. While an unusual gulf tropical storm happened to greet you, and we are sorry that occurred, it did not rise to the level that our property manager would involve themselves. They are always on call to help, but unless winds top 45 mph, which closes the bridge and results in evacuation, they do not proactively call guests. We will add these notes to the greeting they send. While shopping and dining options are importabt to many, we find that most visitors to SGI are looking for family time, beach time, pool time, boat time, fishing time, and occasionally some like to zip over to St James Bay for golf, tennis and/or pickleball courts, all of which are open to the public. This is a destination to unplug, and most major retailers are an hour away. Our island grocery store usually carries 99% of our needs and the fresh seafood trucks a block away have the rest. I apologize for the towel issue, as this was addressed previously but missed by our housekeeping team. There should be four per room, not two and we will address this again, but all guests should know that we team up with a property manager to respond to local needs so none should ever hesitate to call them. Usually the need will be addressed and very fast if during business hours. Hope you will look up Oceans Nine again. Happy to offer a discount to compensate for the weather disruption if dates allow.
