Horseshoe Cabin 3 - Swim in the Blue Lagoon - Dog Friendly!

White fence property on left , cabin is blue with orange door, located towards front of property near the beach volley ball area and campgrounds with rvs . NO OVEN in cabin. Please note this cabin has 1/2 bath ( toilet and sink ) showers are located in a separated building. Cabin has twin & a full bed in 2 separate rooms, kitchenette includes electric skillet, microwave, toaster , crock pot ,small fridge and complimentary coffee & condiments. No pets allowed

The space:
The cabin is located off of the red river, lots of hiking trails, canoe, close to Winstar, dog friendly, enjoy coffee at sunrise on the patio overlooking pond or morning jog on the river. Please dress appropriately wear tennis shoes not flip flops

Guest access:
The cabin is located off of the red river, lots of hiking trails, canoe, enjoy coffee at sunrise on the patio overlooking pond. Laundry facility & showers are available located in same building.

Other things to note:
Navigate directions before getting on county roads, no cell service while driving to property, white fence, property located on left hand side. Once you arrive on the property you will get cell service as well as WiFi.

A Rough Hidden Gem

The property is in an amazing location with incredible secluded access to the Red River. It’s a little hike down to the river. But once you are there, it is amazing tranquility. Take your own pillows, sheets and towels. Also, this is a camping like experience. If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place. This is a place to get away from it all. The last 5 miles to the location are in white rock roads. I will return again and again

This was a terrible representation of the property. The deadbolt was removed so there was just one lock. The bed was broke and the cabin was so small you could barely move around. It was so bad that my wife and i got a hotel 60 miles away just to get out of this hell hole. The hotel that we rented was in Ardmore, Oklahoma and cost less than this God awful place. I want my money back.

Great A/C and Host Response

Our 3 night stay included 2 nights of very bad storms and the host was very responsive to our needs. She went above and beyond, despite other cabins needing more asistance. This is a great little "cabin in the woods", so if you are looking for a 5 star hotel this isnt the place for you. We always pack "to be prepared", and this came in handy. We enjoy our "creature comforts of home" and so we brought them with us. We brought all our own food and drinks...otherwise it would have been a 30 minute trip back to Whitesboro for food. We had also cooked everything ahead of time...so it was just a matter of re-heating. It was a great opportunity for us to getaway and unplug from the city. Overall great stay.
