The place was pretty easy to locate & very cozy/welcoming. The wife & I along with our adopted dog child, really enjoyed our stay here. Wonderful experience, we would definitely stay here again!

This Air B&B was excellent and met all of our needs! We stayed at this property for a week with 2 adults and 2 kids. They had a very easy check in and out process. It was clean, cooled down when we got there ,and stocked with everything we needed. This location is very close to all the family fun places. We would highly recommend this property.

Great Little Spot near Fowl River

This was a great spot for us during our stay near Fowl River for our annual family reunion. One minute from the bay but we couldnt figure out how to access it as there are private property signs all around it. Didn't matter much as we were so busy with river activities. Will def stay here again next time!

A sweet retreat

This is is a great place to stay. Close to Dauphine Island. Everything was perfect, but the can opener and the bunk bed. The lower bed mattress needs to be replaced, as you'll fall into the middle unless you sleep diagonally. It's great having the beautiful porch for coffee looking into the woods. Loved it here.

Short winter get-a-way

Property was just as described. We absolutely loved it. Quiet, private & close to anything we should need or enjoy. Plans are being made to return in 2026.

Quiet relaxing tree house

Great little quiet area. Property was clean well kept. Communication was good. We would stay there again. Use the pin drop he sends.

There was no fire pit on the property.No somores for the grand kids. Yard, outside not secure. Overall well kept. All feather pillows. Be careful if you have allergies

Home Away From Home

We enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful home! Everything was clean, well stocked, and we had everything we needed for our home away from home. We had fun salt water fishing, riding the boat, and playing with our dogs in the back yard. My only complaint about this trip, the beds were very uncomfortable! We were not able to sleep well because of the mattresses. Overall everything was good.

Our stay

We came down to have a weekend of fishing. Could not have been more pleased with the location or the facilities. Everything was very nice and clean. The only suggestion I have is to replace the mattress in the bedroom. It was pretty hard. Other than that it was perfect.

Great spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, clean and quiet. Dauphan Island beach was great. This is definitely one that we would rent again.

Quiet and relaxing location

The property is great. Only 15 minutes to nearby beaches and fishing hot spots. If you're looking to relax and have peace and quiet, this is the place. Host was great in responding and even had tips for local places to visit. Will definitely bok this one again

Great Location

My husband and I were traveling with our two dogs and the accommodations were perfect for us and within our budget. The fenced back yard was nice. If traveling with active dogs we found the following activities… Muddy Creek Wetland loop trail, a 2.3 mile trail roughly 10 miles away that is a mix of boardwalks and trail. Dauphin Ferry - we walked on with the dogs for $6/each round trip (furry friends ride free!) We played on the beach at Fort Morgan and hiked to Tacky Jack’s which is 1.4 miles one-way. Tacky Jack’s will let your dogs dine on the patio. They even brought us water and gave the dogs bacon. The Audubon Trail on Dauphin Island was beautiful! Be sure to get “to-go” BBQ at Captain Frank’s Smoke Shack in Bayou La Batre. The East side of Dauphin Island is more dog friendly than the West we were told, which turned out to be true and we were able to let our dogs swim there off leash without anyone reprimanding us:) The local grocery store Greer just up the road had the basics, nothing too gourmet though, but very convenient for the essentials. The scallops and shrimp we purchased at Skinner’s Seafood on Dauphin Island were absolutely delicious!!! It was so nice to have such a nice kitchen to cook at back at the cottage. Tyler was very communicative about all our needs and is a great host!

We celebrated the Fourth of July there, went to the beach and crabbing in the bay! Super cute house and very responsive host!

Such a lovely, quiet spot in the woods. Most portions of the outside have complete privacy, with only the driveway portion viewable from the street/neighbor. Really made for a pleasant getaway. Tyler is very communicative, helpful, and patient. Very clean house, everything worked - I had no complaints. Yes, that is a huge, fenced in, back yard - and my pups loved it! Would easily return if its in the cards one day
