Just steps to the sand! This one-bedroom cottage is just one block from the beach and 1/2 block from the bay. Centrally located and family friendly with many cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Great Mission Beach neighborhood. Surf and swim friendly.

Uncrowded sandy bottom beach break straight out front. Rent a board around the corner or sign up for surf lessons across the street. Paddle board on the bay or explore Mission Beach on a bike.

Your beach oasis awaits. With air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your favorite meals or mix a fun cocktail to enjoy while relaxing on the cozy patio.

The bedroom has a Queen bed. There is a daybed in the living area that doubles as a twin bed sleeping space and the couch for a relaxing night in watching TV.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. There is Uverse TV so you won't miss your favorite show, and Netflix if you just want to relax and watch a movie.

The boardwalk is just steps away. There are lots of great local restaurants, a juice bar and coffee shops to enjoy and be sure to check out happy hour at one of nearby watering holes. Hang with the locals in this laid-back beach community.

There is not a parking space with the home. There is street parking (please note signs for street sweeping).

Fun and funky Mission Beach is a top destination for San Diego Visitors. Mission Beach is in the heart of all the action. Featuring miles of beach and boardwalk. It's the ideal spot to try surfing, rent a boat or bike to explore the area. Restaurants and shops are nearby by along with Belmont Park Amusement Park which features the historical roller-coaster and arcades along with ocean front dining.

The cottage was much smaller than I thought it would be. And I thought it was going to be closer to the water than it was. Parking wasn’t too bad during the week but an absolute nightmare on the weekends. And shame on me for not noticing there was no real furniture to sit on. There’s a day bed which isn’t that comfortable for sitting and 4 rickety dining chairs.

To start, the host is amazing and great to communicate with. Second, the home is wonderful and very clean, finally, location was perfect since we love the beach. We got to experience the San Diego life style.

Great location

It was centrally located for everything we did. Also, our favorite brekfast place, Olive Baking Co was only like 50 steps from our place. Close to beach and 20 walk to great gelato!

Great Location. Great deal.

It's a funky little beach bungalow, super comfy and clean. Hard to find a better spot for me, great food, coffee, bars, beach all within 100 yds. You can spend a whole weekend without leaving this little section of Mission beach.

Clean and cozy, great location. There are good food options within walking distance, and it’s just a short walk to the beach to enjoy the sunset. Parking is indeed a challenge, not insurmountable but do pay careful attention to the signage and be prepared to get up early to move the car if need be. The only thing that could be improved upon is the dishware, as there isn’t as much of it as I would expect for the stated capacity. Otherwise it’s a nice base of operations, and there was a nice little back of snacks and water provided as a welcome.

Property is very cozy. Some amenities could be updated/ replaced, especially the kitchen knives, silverware, etc. no pizza cutter. Bedroom is very warm as the AC unit is in the living room. Location is very convenient. We would probably stay again for the price.

Parking was a nightmare! If you don’t wake up early each day and drive around for two hours you will get an 85 ticket, that is if you can find a parking spot within 3 blocks of the place.

We clearly state in the listing that the home has street parking, and we also provide "suggested" places to park. Unfortunately, Brendan did not read the property description and expected a designated space. The owners have been hosting for almost 10 years with various management companies and people love the home and its location and keep coming back:)

Beach Sunsets

It was a joy to wake up every morning and take a walk on the beach and or the Board Walk‼️ My husband and I would come back to our rental and make coffee and breakfast and eat it out on the cute little patio, very private. It was the perfect place for a couple to stay!!!

Great location & stay

The location was phenomenal. Propert was a cute bungalow on bayside. Value for price was off the charts in my book. Best part of the stay was getting to bond with neighbors who are local to Mission Beach for decades. We will be back again!!

Great stay. Amazing location.

This was an awesome little spot with easy access to both the bay and the beach just a block away on either side. The host was very communicative and helpful. If you bring a car be sure to plan your parking because mission beach street parking can be competitive but there’s some great public lots a block or two away if you’re okay with a bit of a walk. Overall it was the perfect place to celebrate mine and my partner’s anniversary. So much fun stuff to do within walking distance! Thanks for the great stay!

Amazing little beach get away

The parking was the only challenge we faced on our vacation. There are limited spots, but once you find one, keep it. Other than that this was the best San Diego visit me and my wife have ever had, it’s a perfect central spot, with all kinds of restaurants and coffee/breakfast places within a short walking distance. The spot was a perfect size for a couple and the couch was soooooo comfy, great spot to come back to and relax after being at the beach all day. Will definitely come back.

Cute little getaway

This listing is absolutely adorable! It was perfect for a quick get away for me and my partner. Great location with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had the best time walking the beaches and chatting with the locals. We enjoyed every second!

In the heart of Mission Beach!

What a great place to stay! We had a blast in this place. It's small, but fit us perfectly and we had everything we needed. At first parking was a concern, but having arrived on 7/4, it was super busy and we found street parking easy during the rest of our stay. Walking distance to the beach, shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Girls Weekend

This was the perfect little beach getaway bungalow. Super close to the beach and the bay and lots of restaurants as well. It’s small and quaint but very clean, we felt safe and we didn’t need anything bigger as we were out and about most the trip. We initially couldn’t find parking after we unloaded but realized we could park at the Santa Clara rec center and it worked out perfect.

Great location, easy beach access

Really enjoyed our stay here. My husband and I met our college age son in San Diego for a long weekend. Easy walk to the beach, the lagoon, lots of restaurants and funky shops. Parking is a bit challenging but could find an overnight spot down at the lagoon side. Very cozy but comfortable. Very responsive host for questions.

Great location

Perfect location in Mission Beach! The neighbors are great to chat with. It's right across from an incredible little local bar. Super easy to uber to any location in the city you would want to go. The house is a perfect size for two people. We loved it.
