A comfortable peaceful stay.

Our second stay at this house, that should speak for itself. This is a quiet area and the house offers a great place to stay in a rural area yet close to a small town. Owner is helpful with great communication.

Fun, quiet and great experience

Excellent communication from the owner. My family stayed here over the weekend and couldn't have had a better experience. Cabin was clean, stocked and furnished nicely. Land was maintained with fire pit, bbq and tons of games and activities. We were comfortable throughout our stay and had tons of fun! The area is so quiet and the trails on the acreage were maintained. 5 stars, excellent experience, highly recommend. We will be back to stay at this cabin for sure!

Great way to escape our neighborhood’s fireworks

We had such a wonderful four days at the cabin. Our neighborhood goes crazy on the Fourth of July. This was a great escape for us - some fireworks nearby but much more manageable for us. It’s off a gravel drive with very friendly neighbors. Our pups all loved to run the land and hang out on the wraparound porch. The property is as described and was perfect for our small group. My husband and I took our dogs on a great hike to Hughes Mountain in nearby Leadville. We would stay here again.

Beautiful, Peaceful Country Property

This is an amazingly beautiful and peaceful property in the country away from all the city noise. We enjoyed quiet and relaxing times sitting outdoors in the many available locations and just listening to nature. The property has ample trails to explore. The inside is nicely decorated and a comfortable place to relax as well. The owner was very nice and helpful and prompt to reply. We will definitely come back here again. Thanks David!

No WIFI/Internet/Tv. When arrived it was 95 degrees outside and only one air conditioner was on, set at 78 degrees. When moving our luggage upstairs, the temperature was 110 degrees. Took hours for the house to cool down. No lighting on stairs going from bedrooms to bathroom and stairs painted black. Flash lights were supplied but very hard to navigate in the dark.

Unfortunately the internet provider, Brightspeed had a cable that was cut, so internet was out for the entire area. We attempted to contact the internet provider to get a service technician out there, but they were booked a month out for service calls. The fourth of July weekend saw a historic heat wave of 110F temps for the entire week. This is a weekend cabin that we are not going to keep air conditioned to 72 F. Each bedroom upstairs have window AC units that typically will cool the upstairs room within about 30 minutes. We have nightlights and flashlights available to keep some ambient lighting in the evening to provide light for walking down the stairs in the nighttime. I felt terrible that the internet was out, but that was out of my control. We have since switched to Starlink, so hopefully we will now have uninterrupted internet service.
