Escape to our tranquil mountain retreat just 1.5 hours from DC and Baltimore. Enjoy the pool, unwind in the hot tub, or explore scenic hiking trails. Walk to Whitetail Resort, as well as nearby tennis courts and golf. Inside, relax with a 70-inch smart TV, board games, and a Pac-Man arcade; outside, gather around the fire pit or use the grill.

After a day of outdoor activities, take in the stars under clear skies and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Ideal for couples, families with pets, and remote workers.

- Before you leave, please set the AC/heat to 72° in summer and 65° in winter.

Great place, extremely close to the slopes, convenient, easy to find. Well kept interior w/ 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 large modern full bathrooms, and a very functional kitchen w modern appliances and everything you need. Worked great for 2 families of 4. Will stay here again when skiing Whitetail!

The place was perfect for our two families! Loved the decor and the layout! There was plenty of seating for everyone to be together either eating at the counter, doing a puzzle at the table or watching tv on the couch! We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back next year!

Great stay!

We had an awesome time. We arrived at night and were confused as to how to enter the property, which is like a downstairs apartment in a SFH, but the hosts were communicative and helpful and once we got in it was lovely.

Great place - very convenient to Whitetail

We had a great time. The place is clean and spacious. Plenty of space for our group of 3 adults and 3 kids. Bathrooms are huge and everything you need is there. It's also incredibly close to Whitetail, so it's perfect for a ski vacation.

Great location

Really comfortable and roomy 3 bedrooms. Large baths and kitchen. Smallish family area, but still plenty of room. It seems like this property is very new. So it's clean, in great repair. I feel like the others may be still planning on putting some kitchen items in, pots pans etc. We were fine, but there is certainly some room for kitchen utensils. I think the living area would benefit from a bunch of large floor pillows and a bean bag chair or just something that makes post skiing "flopping around" more comfortable and accessible in the living area. Overall it's a great set up. If you are willing to do a little bit of walking (maybe 150 yards) you can access the snow from the property by walking down hill on the fireroad that accesses the top of Northern Lights. From there you can ski the beginning area or ski to the left to the lodge and the main lifts. You can exit the ski area and walk down hill from the top of the intermediate lift by dropping down on the green slope off to the right of that life and take the same fire road down to the house. It's a tiny bit tricky getting down to the house because the back is kinda steep. If you are lucky enough to have abundant natural snow in addition to the gobs of snow Whitetail makes, you could potentially ski down to the slopes from the house and back to the house from the slopes. Great visit. Whitetail itself has taken some aggressive steps to minimize lift lines by managing lift loading like the big boys.
