Drive down a private road onto the forested Evergreen Hideaway. This unique property offers a newly remodeled kitchen, bathroom, living room and office. It's deck and screened in porch offer incredible views of the Sapphire mountain range and valley below. Play horseshoes or enjoy the fire pit and picnic table. Swing in the hammock and watch as wildlife enjoy the vegetation. Only 10 minutes from the Hallmark like town of Hamilton. Near by are gorgeous hikes or a quick drive to Lake Como. There is world class fly fishing here and Glacier National Forest is approximately three hours away. Fly into Missoula and Evergreen is an easy hour drive away or drive through Idaho and the beautiful Bitterroot valley to find this sweet piece of Montana.

Property was fabulous, quiet, homey and beautiful! Trees were amazing, saw a few deer, the bed was super comfy, coffee was delicious in the enclosed porch and in the deck outside.

Very beautiful home. It was clean and cozy. It felt like home, down to using their Grandma’s silverware in the kitchen. We were looking for a peaceful place to stay and this fit the bill.

So relaxing and peaceful

We had the best time. The house was clean and had lots of amenities. We started and ended our day on the patio everyday. It was truly my favorite part of the house. More often than not we would see deer in the yard. So any things to do nearby. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Sisters’ Getaway

What a fun location! Beautiful surroundings, and great spots in the house for coffee on the porch, mojitos on the deck and visiting by the fire! The beds were amazingly comfortable. We had a blast!

Family vacation in Hamilton

The property is in a beautiful location. We enjoyed the deck in the morning and fire ring in the evening. Very good communication with the owners with prompt responses to questions. Good proximity to downtown Hamilton and fishing access spots.

Will stay here again! The house was beautiful and clean, super cozy and welcoming. The property itself is a beautiful secluded representation on Montana with a view overlooking the valley. You feel removed from downtown but are only 10 minutes from being in the heart of Hamilton. There wasn’t a morning or evening where deer weren’t in the backyard. The hosts are very responsive to questions and messages. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. We travel to Montana every couple of years to visit family and have already decided that if this property is available for our next trip we will be staying here again.

Peace on earth

A lovely home on a wonderful piece of land, high above the valley. When I read the description as peaceful and quiet, I thought they were probably exaggerating a little. When I stayed there, I realized they were understating how serene the place was. I would stay there again and I would recommend it to anybody.

Great getaway!

This home is so cozy and views are amazing! We loved how quiet it was. The deer came right up to the porch :) The owners have thought of everything and all the comforts of home are here waiting for you :) I highly recommend this place for your Montana visit! We will be back soon :)

Our Montana Summer

An awesome private quiet place to stay, with plenty of room to let the kids play, with a horseshoe pit where we had a few competitive games and plenty of yard to play Cornhole, only minutes from Hamilton and Corvallis and Blodgett campground where we had a few grilled hotdogs and Burgers with friends. Bill and Susan are very prompt to communicate. Meg is a phenomenal housekeeper. Awesome people awesome place!

Located at the end of a road- quiet and private - highly recommend

Our daughter was getting married and we needed a home base for everything and anything that could possibly occur. We weren’t even sure who was going to stay with us so having three nice bedrooms and two bathrooms was terrific. A pleasant surprise was the land around the house. It was well cared for and so nice the bride and groom did their first look and private vows in the aspen trees next to the meadow. We had coffee on the deck or screened in porch every day- absolutely beautiful.

House in the woods

Loved the location. House was private and well equipped. Upstairs bathroom was filthy. Black hair in tub looked like had given a dog a bath. Was not cleaned. Had to clean entire bathroom myself.

Beautiful Bitterroots.

I have to say, we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful house. Stunning setting. One of our favourite things was sitting on the big rock down by the eastern pasture. It was so peaceful listening to the birds and enjoying the beauty of creation. When we came, there was a little rivulet running through the property. We even enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood past the horse farm. We loved the trees and wildflowers in the yard. We were pleased to find new birds for our "Life Lists"! All in all, a great base for our adventures, hiking in the Bitterroots!

Rustic Montana retreat!

Stumbled upon the Evergreen Hideaway as it happened to be right around the corner from the family we were visiting. It was the perfect rustic retreat for our needs. The property is gorgeous with views and wildlife. The small back deck was perfect for coffee and cocktails. The kitchen had basic necessities and Susan was thoughtful enough to leave us a fresh creamer for morning coffee. The beds were comfortable! The house is tastefully decorated with some nice recent updates. AC downstairs and window fans upstairs were a huge plus as we stayed during the 2nd week of the heat wave. Susan was great about communicating before and during our stay, even offering/recommending us to take the camp chairs down to the river for a chill afternoon outing. Would totally stay again.

Modern Rustic Charm!

Lovely property in the tree-covered hills overlooking the valley! Friendly deer often visited, very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Home was nicely accommodated, a nice combination of rustic and modern updates. Love the sunroom and spiral staircase! Lots of unique character! Appreciated the resources binder for local services as well as notes about the home and how to care for it. There is a polite neighbor next to the property, a barn and a tiny house (in-laws quarters?) You're not secluded if that's what you're looking for but it's very peaceful and quiet.

Amazing Getaway with At Home Feeling

This property was amazing. I have stayed at many private short term rentals. This one felt the most like home. Every little detail was attended to. Comfy rugs, couches, patio furniture and kitchen. The whole house felt like home. The property was awesome too. Nestled up in the start of where the valley meets the mountains we had plenty of cool breezes as well as trees for shade. The whole yard had thoughtfully placed low power lights so you could walk around in the dark with out fear of tripping. I wish I could have a standing booking. I teared up leaving this one for the first time. We didnt wish we had anything from home. And we didnt come all that prepared due to flying witb carry on luggage only. If you are on the fence... book it. But please take good care of it. This is not just a house it is a home.

We love our mountain retreat. We hope you do too! We are new grand parents so we come to relax and enjoy and we leave to be with our children and their young ones.

If you see that the property is blocked and you are desperate for that time please contact Susie. These were blocked for possible family times and could maybe be unblocked depending on the what we have planned.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

There is something really really special about this place. As the previous owners said- it just has a very special spirit.

It's like you have total privacy but great neighbors at the same time. It's quiet and peaceful but holds its own when music is on and we are goofing around.

We spend more time outside than in- the hiking on Blodgett or Mill Creek are less than five minute drive away. Fishing is maybe 15 minutes away depending on where you want to cast your line. We love swimming with the dog, picnicking and hiking at Lake Como too.

Back home we enjoy the deck for cocktails, dinner and a wild games of something. Big kids can play with the basketball hoop, littler kids can play in the seasonal river, horseshoe competitions are fun too.

At end of our day we can walk to the edge of the property with our wine and sit on Cocktail Rock and watch the Sapphire mountains disappear into darkness. Then we see the beautiful lights from across the Vally in Corvalis begin to shine. We are lead back to the house with the help of outdoor lights to guide us and maybe we decide stop for a bon fire in the fire pit before heading to bed.

Great days and nights happen at Evergreen Hideaway!

This is our first time to VRBO- so instead of yanking everything down and locking up our favorite towels, kitchen utensils and plates, or our candles- we've left our home for you pretty much as is. Of course we moved our personal cloths, food, dog stuff out of your way.
