Located steps away from the Village of Baytowne Wharf, this cozy studio is close to many fabulous dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Visit the Baytowne Marina to enjoy the outdoors with YOLO boards, kayaks, wave runners, parasailing, and fishing charters. Romantic dinners can be enjoyed aboard the 125-foot three-deck Solaris yacht cruises. And pontoon rentals make for sunshine-filled days of adventure.

After a day full of new experiences, head back to your stay and you'll find a carefully decorated space, central air-conditioning, and efficient amenities. Cozy up on one of the queen beds while tuning into your favorite TV show or movie. Store your leftovers in the mini-fridge, or whip up a cup of coffee in the coffee machine come morning. Coffee and conversation can be enjoyed poolside by the resort's shared pool and hot tub.

Great location!

Great location shops and restaurants in 2 minutes. Check in process was very smooth.The room was basic but had what we needed a couple of updates would turn this great into excellent (mirror outside of the bathroom and we ran out of toilet paper). The parking situation is 10 minutes walk in the overflow parking overnight not ideal but overall we had a great visit. They were doing maintenance on the pool 2 days so we had to change our plans on going to the beach due to the pool being closed.

Great condo, poor parking

Condo was quite comfy. Parking was terrible! I e stayed multiple times at Baytowne Wharf and never had to park/walk so far from building. Heat and humidity was high and trekking across property with bags was no ideal.

Nice

Positive: The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The wharf was right next door. Negative: You have to park down the street. For me it was not a big deal because I had family close by with a golf cart and they picked me up and dropped me off every day. I only had to walk the last morning to my car to check out but it was not that bad. If you have health issues, I don’t recommend it.

Weekend Getaway

The room was a great location. The only negatives are the bed was a queen size not a king as listed on the listing. I would also recommend another night stand on the side of the bed. Other than that, it was a wonderful trip. We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance. The gym was clean.

Great Getaway

My husband and I took a spontaneous trip, and there was a last-minute cancellation for the Pilot House. It was even better than advertised. We loved the access to Baytowne Wharf for a fun carnival-like night out! Next time we will be back with our kids and our golf clubs, as this is an extremely kid-friendly venue with tons of great amenities!

Baytowne Stay

This place was beautiful and perfect for what we needed, but we struggled to find the room from the directions online. The parking situation also made things difficult when carrying luggage/beach items. Overall, we enjoyed the room.

The only positives of this trip have nothing to do with the room. The location was alright, still a long walk to the courtyard area. Parking in the overflow was a disaster. I’ve stayed at the Baytowne wharf multiple times and have never NOT been given access to the private parking garage. The AC unit sounds like a freight train and the room is a conjoined room with walls as thin as paper. The bed was uncomfortable and no extra pillows or blankets were given. The sheets looked slept in already OR they weren’t changed from the previous visitors. I hardly ever gripe about a stay but this almost feels like wasted money.

August 2024 Getaway

The condo was just as described. Very clean and comfortable. The location is not recommended for someone that has a mobility issue. Parking is a pretty good distance away and their is no handicap parking near the unit. Otherwise it is a fantastic place.

This was a very convenient place to stay as we were staying the night after a beer festival. We live locally but didn't want to drive after drinking beer all afternoon. We had a little trouble finding the Pilot House as it's kind of nestled in with the same building as Observation Point so we had to do a little searching for the entrance. The biggest issue was the assigned parking was nearly half a mile away from the room. Although shuttle service was available, our room was completely surrounded by a parking garage and it seemed strange we couldn't utilize it. The valet was kind enough to let us keep our car in the garage using the overnight pass issued at the guard shack. The beer festival started at 2 and we couldn't use any of the accommodations or assigned parking until 4. Early check in is strictly unavailable even though we were offered late check out. We would have preferred the former. Otherwise, the room was quiet and clean and we got a good night's sleep. The property manager was quick to respond to our questions via text messaging. We were also offered use of the amenities on site such as the pool and the village had a lot of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is always a plus; we've stayed there many times. Highly recommend.

Stranded outside

We flew in late and arrived at property at approximately 11pm. We didn’t receive email with instructions was referred to VRBO app for access information. Unfortunately code to enter building was incorrect. Attempt to contact anyone went unanswered. We did make into building after having a security officer let us in. Vrbo failed us big time Room was acceptable in great location but when you stand outside at midnight helpless you kinda become disgusted

Would not recommend

Although it states you are permitted one spot on Inspiration Dr in the lot, it would be great if a back up is also provided. When we arrived at the lot a security guard was there saying the lot was full and we were not permitted to park there. We asked where to park. He had no idea. We then went to the valet parking to ask them. They said they had no idea. It took us over 1.5 hrs to find a place to park. Absolutely ridiculous parking situation. If you’re only directing people to a specific area there should clearly be a space available. Upon contacting the office via chat was given absolutely NO viable solution. We had one vehicle and no parking spot. The room itself was clean however the WiFi for phones and TV was freezing up every 3-4 minutes making watching TV impossible. The walls were paper thin. We could dealt with a screaming kid and yelling parents all night. They may as well have been in our room. We were booked for 3 nights and literally notified the office by 9 AM the next morning we were leaving. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have no car

Sleepless night

This property was a convenient location, but was unacceptable. I did not get one minute of sleep. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train and started/ stopped every 5 minutes.. I got more sleep when my kids were newborns. We could not use the pool/gym/amenities because our codes did not work. The lighting was terrible. Only one overhead light in the whole unit (outside the bathroom) and the lamp wasn’t working. The window to outside was taped up. Overall much smaller than represented and was not easy when it came to parking/ finding it. I could have put up with everything else, v but the air conditioner made it the worst overnight rental experience I have ever had.
