Wild Turkey Cabin in Hocking Hills

Wild Turkey Cabin is a log cabin with a private bedroom and a loft. Sleeps 4. Located on 70 wooded acres. Loft with full bed and a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom with smart TV. Enjoy a day of hiking and wind down in a private hot tub, while enjoying the sounds of nature. We offer a large deck with a gas grill and fire ring. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy a getaway for couples or families. Surrounded by the beauty of Hocking Hills, nature abounds at Wild Turkey Cabin. Cabin is located on a private/no outlet drive which is secluded & quiet. We are pet friendly with a 2 dog limit and a $50 pet fee. Approximately 10 minutes to Old Mans Cave or Ash Cave waterfalls. Close proximity to other Hocking Hills State Parks. Logan, Ohio is a short 20 minute drive. We are centrally located to all kinds of recreational activities.

This was a wonderful experience. We were able to bring our labrador ladies with us which made it even better. The cabin was comfortable, welcoming, warm, and had everything one would need. It is set on wonderfully quiet land, yet is still very easily accessible to all attractions around it. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday here. We would look forward to another visit in the future. Thank you for such a great experience!

This place caters to your fur babies. Even the animals feel like they're on vacation.

it was ok, bathroom shower barely worked, sliding door going onto deck was broke, carpet and windows were dirty. key code wasn't changed which led to several phone calls and a hour and half setting in car waiting to get in.

It was a nice cabin, but needs some attention. One of the main reasons we stayed was the fireplace, which doesn’t work. When I contacted the host…..Crickets. The bathroom sink stopper was pushed down and wouldn’t come back up. We are not high maintenance people, so it wasn’t that big a deal. But I didn’t like not being answered when I asked about the fireplace. Beds were very comfy, and the hot tub was great!

We were not very impressed with the cleanliness of this cabin. The attention to detail was sorely lacking. I had to clean off the deck and wipe down the outside table when we got there. The kitchen needs more dishes and bigger coffee cups. The location was beautiful. There are a lot of repairs that need done. For what we paid, we expected a bit better accommodation than what we had. The deck had loose boards that need taken care of. There are wasp nests in the eaves of the porch.The hot tub needs some tlc. The kitchen cupboards need painted. The faucet in the tub needs repaired. There was dog hair under the recliner and on the exchange for the a.c. The gas grill has a leak. Could use more bath towels in the bathroom. Attention to detail goes a long way in retaining future guests. These things have been mentioned in many comments in the book at the cabin.

Beautiful location close to all the hocking hills hiking destinations. Dogs and my friend and I had a blast enjoying all the sights, nature time, and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend! Lacked slightly in amenities (toilet paper, hand soap, cleaning supplies, pots and pans, but we managed).

Unique, beautiful and quiet location, shower had a split shower curtain, which was open about the middle of the shower. Bathroom was serviceable, all the faucets in the cabin were either on backwards or loose. Bed was rock hard, but the cot was not bad. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Overall it was an amazing experience! The cabin was perfect and had all the amenities we needed. The Shower nozzle is broken but was still able to figure out and use it. The grill is broken so that was kind of a bummer. Other than that it is a perfect lil cabin in the woods that our family of 4 enjoyed. Would definitely recommend to other people.

When we arrived to the cabin we noticed a very musty smell inside. The walls appeared wet in some spots. When taking a look around the nob to the shower was sitting on the toilet. We brushed them off as these were small things. Then later we tried to grill and the grill flame would not turn up higher than the lowest setting so we then ran out to get charcoal for the charcoal grill. On our first night we couldn’t get the jets to work in the hot tub, at this point we call maintenance. They come to fix the nob in the shower, and tell us they got the jets to work in the hot tub but the electrical looks chewed and it wouldn’t be safe to use and mentioned a partial refund. HUGE bummer as that’s a big reason why we booked this cabin. We still enjoyed our local plans and adventures. So on our last day we call to say we’re checking out a bit early and asked about the partial refund that was mentioned by maintenance because we never got to use the hot tub, they proceeded to tell me maintenance came back the following morning and fixed the hot tub. We never seen maintenance, never talked to anyone or received a call, message, anything. Last thing we were told is that it was unsafe for an electrical issue. They said that we were even at the cabin when maintenance came to fix it, why did they never make contact with us to say it was now safe and able to be used? We never seen them, heard them, our dogs never even heard them. Very disappointed with that aspect of our stay.

Nice, but getting outdated.This is the second time we've booked this cabin and we really like the privacy and distance from the Hocking Hills main park. However, a number of features about the cabin are starting to show age. I luckily happened to have tools capable of reattaching the bathroom handle after it fell off during our stay.

My wife and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. The hot tub was really nice and relaxing. The location is nice with both Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave about 5 or 6 minutes away. My only negatives are the handle for the shower was missing but we managed using the stub. Also the deck could really use a good pressure washing. All in all we really liked the cabin and already booked another 3 nights there.

The cabin is very cute and well equipped. The hot tub was wonderful.We will definately stay again.

Our stay was restful and very enjoyable. The young adults loved the hot tub.There are a few maintenance items to take care of but over all a really nice place.

Overall was nice we would stay here again. My only problem was the hot tub needed to be clean. It smelled bad. Everything else was clean though.
