The house was as advertised. It was very clean, nicely furnished, and the kitchen was well stocked. Lots of spices, dishes, glasses, silverware, and cookware including extras like colander, cutting board, plastic wrap, foil, baggies, even corn holders for corn on the cob, and more. I don't think there was anything we needed that wasn't there. There was a regular coffee pot and coffee. If I had a suggestion for the kitchen, it would be to add a Keurig. The bed and pillows were so comfy - really nice! The bathrooms were clean, stocked with hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, and plenty of towels.Checking in: Prior to arrival, we were given a 4 digit code that we assumed was for a keypad on the door. We went to the back and front doors looking for a keypad and then noticed a lockbox containing the keys on the back side of one of the back porch posts. It doesn't really catch your eye unless you're looking for it. It would have been helpful to know that prior to arrival, but that certainly didn't ruin our stay. I would absolutely stay there again.

Family Reunion

Responsiveness of the owner was outstanding! The home was very clean. Great home for a large family dinner - plenty of dinnerware and flatware and great layout. Smart TV to show vacation pictures. Proximity to restaurants and entertainment was great (we walked to the fair one morning). Beautiful walk to SUNY Fredonia with gorgeous big old homes.

Home away from home

This home was spectacular. Felt like very comfortable and homey without feeling like you were "in someone's home". Extremely clean and well put-together. Check-in was a breeze and Laura was extremely generous, positive and communicative throughout the entire process. Great location near expressway, Fredonia, shopping, Lily Dale, etc. Highly recommend and will stay again the next time I'm in the area! 5 stars all around.

Gorgeous home a must stay

Wow, this home was absolutely gorgeous! I loved everything about it. The wooden floors and wooden stairs were beautiful! Loved the huge front porch! Sat out every morning enjoying my tea. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to cook. Laura was wonderful to work with and very accomodating! Will definitely be back!!

October College Reunion

The house was fantastic! Very clean throughout, quality sheets and bedding. Mattress and pillows comfortable. Loved the towels, very soft and absorbent. Bathrooms were clean. 6 adults stayed very comfortably. Kitchen nicely stocked with everything you need! The owner was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Perfect In Every Way

The home was just as described and more! The owner was great at communicating with us. The home was perfectly lovely with beautiful furnishings and lots of extra touches. Although we didn’t prepare any meals, all of the necessary appliances were provided. The bed was super comfortable! The location was centrally located and made everything very accessible including stores, restaurants and, of course, the lake! We would love to stay in this beautiful home again!

Nice visit in our home town

We spent our winter vacation visiting family in our hometown. We moved to Georgia 13 years ago and it’s nice to visit our family that still live in Fredonia,NY. The location of the home is perfect, near restaurants and shopping. The home is old but in a beautiful way with antique furniture and original wood floors. There was plenty of towels, the remodeled kitchen was fully stocked. It was a great bonus to have a washer and dryer. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again.
