Short family trip

Perfect little getaway for our family. It was the first time my grandkids had been to the beach. My Grandbaby had such a fun time playing on the lagoon shore and catching little crabs in her net. The pool is shaded great in the afternoon to. Will definitely stay here again

Great Location

Overall our stay was fun. The house has a great layout for a large group. Unfortunately the house needs some attention. The furnishings are very worn, stained and need a good cleaning, especially the living room furniture. The appliances were dirty and the outdoor shower was filled with old carpeting and debris so it could not be used for several days until the management company had people come and clean the shower room. The cleaning crew did a very poor job as well. Several bathrooms were dirty and the floors were filthy and full of sand. Once we spent our first evening cleaning the trip was great.

Had a great time

When we arrived we had some difficulty with the entrance code, but the issue was resolved easily and quickly with fast response from the rental company. The house very clean and well kept, the only difference we saw from the pictures was some of the entrance stairs were missing the carpet so some tack strips were exposed. Not a difficult walk to the beach and usually wasn't hard to find a parking spot if we drove to the entrance. Would definitely stay again.

A mixed experience on Golden Pond

This is a very nice condo, in a great area. However when we finally received our door code at 4:50 the property was dirty. The kitchen had the prior visitors trash full for us to take out and the floors hadn't been swept in weeks. I suggest you hire a new cleaning company.

overall great place to stay

The house was clean, pool was very nice, it was great to be able to go out on the pier and fish, or just sit and enjoy. We had a great view of the lagoon. The walk to the beach was a little far, but we were able to deal with that by taking our car closer to the road in the complex. The only down sides were - dishwasher took 3 hours to run; washing machine would sometimes sit without proceeding until you lifted the lid and dropped it down; the dryer took several times running to get the towels dry. Also, the threshold going from the kitchen to the downstairs bedroom was not attached. I almost tripped over it and fell once. It actually broke when I tripped on it, so I moved it out of the way for the rest of our stay. Otherwise, it was a very nice house and we enjoyed our stay. One suggestion for the kitchen would be a griddle.

We've researched the notes on your reservation and looked for work orders for these items but it doesn't look like you informed us of these things during your stay. We wish you would have called us after you arrived. We would have been happy to send our housekeepers back out to correct the cleaning issues. We have informed management about the property condition issues and they will be reaching out to the owner of the condo to address those items. We hope to see you the next time you are in the area!

Great location and house

This beach house is within walking distance to the beach and you also have your own water inlet without a beach. Great view
