Only 40 miles from Yosemite and half way between Oakhurst and Mariposa, you can unwind on the large deck enjoying the beautiful wooded property with historic oak trees and archaic Indian grinding holes. Enjoy the sunset and the sound of the pristine mountain stream and complete your day in the jacuzzi.
Great dirt roads to explore with your off road vehicles in the Sierra National Forest at your doorstep. All this beauty is easily accessible and only 62 miles from Fresno International Airport.
Enjoy nature in Yosemite National Park, Bass Lake and the Merced River Recreational Area.
For a change of pace, shop in historic Mariposa and visit the Chukchansi Casino just 29 miles away. Two and a half hours away is Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Park with the stunning giant Redwood trees you have to see to believe.

Clean and Spacious

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The home is very clean and well maintained. There are labels everywhere to make it very easy to find things. We loved that there were so many books all over so we could have story time with our kids before bed. This is a very fantastic place to stay.

Beautiful home with amazing amenities

Our family of 6 adults, 2 young children and a labrador spent the New Year weekend at this lovely property. Mike was extremely communicative before, during and after our stay. Unfortunately the hot tub had issues but we didn't let that bother us. We loved the spacious layout, and the kitchen had more supplies than we have ever seen elsewhere. We loved the river at the bottom of the property, and the drive to Yosemite was not too far. Our only complaint is that our stay was too short! Would definitely return.

This was one of our favorite properties yet to stay at!! This house was amazing and Mike was incredible! I was blown away at all the hot drink options in the kitchen and even food in the pantry! The house is humongous and fit our family of 7 wonderfully. The couch was huge and we all were able to sit together with extra room on it! The woods around and river below were amazing to enjoy and explore! We arrived late at night and couldn’t figure out the code, so we rang the Ring at the door and he answered right away! We were able to talk to him personally and then as we were settling in we had to ring him a couple more times and each time he answered promptly and graciously. He let us check out late and was super flexible! We had lots of fun with the ping pong table in the garage, as well as the jacuzzi and great games! Clean. Huge, yet homey. Wonderful property! Would highly recommend!!

Creekside Getaway with hot tub and lovely kitchen

My husband and I stayed at this lovely Mariposa property for nearly a week. Mike was super communicative, and gave lots of details in response to questions. Our three adult children, a significant other, and a dog made up the rest of our vacation party. The drives to Yosemite were longer than ideal, bur for two of the days we simply stayed on the property enjoying games, the picturesque and inviting creek, and the hot tub! We want to come back next year.

Just did 2 nights at Mike's place. It was a bit hard to find at first because we checked in well after dark and due to no phone reception/internet, I couldn't get the door code at first. We had to drive off until we got reception again to get the access code to enter the property. I recommend to other guests to make sure you know what the house looks like beforehand in case you arrive in the dark and make note of the access code in advance. Other than that, Mike is an excellent communicator and keeps a lovely property. It was clean, well kept, with beautiful views of the creek and woods outside. There is ample room for families with games and a well stocked kitchen. Our traveling companion cat had fun roaming the house and making her voice heard in the stairwell. Thanks again, Mike. Enjoyed our stay and visit to Yosemite.

Excellent host and property

We were extremely pleased with the property, amenities and especially the host. Mike was amazing at responding and accommodating us before, during and after our stay. Yosemite Getaway

After a day at Yosemite, this was a perfect place to stay for the night. The home was immaculately clean and well stocked with essentials. And the stream running behind it was beautiful and such a soothing sound. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

A stunning getaway with kind, thoughtful, and accommodating hosts

Mike and his wife went out of their way to make sure my group could check in early, let us park in the garage, and even taught us about Indian grinding holes in the backyard! Before we had even got there, this place was a 10. The house was large, very clean, and had more than everything we needed. The hot tub was a hit after a day of hiking at Yosemite! Beds were very comfortable and the linens were clean. We will be going out of our way to book again next time we visit.

Beautiful property located near many attractions.

We were very happy with the property. The house was very well appointed and had many nice extras. The owner checked on us via message many times during our stay to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again in the future when we are out in Yosemite.

Don’t expect to have any city life around it. It’s a place you go to escape from from the hustle and bustle of the city and that’s exactly what we’ve got. Host was very accommodating, perfect for our little family getaway. Very serene surrounding. sleeping, dining and living area is cute and comfy. We are definitely coming back!

Peaceful nature

Beautiful Location!

We stayed one night and it was a perfect lay over on our way to Yosemite. Our family enjoyed the babbling creek, the nature, porch swing, ping pong table, and the spacious living area with a large dine in kitchen/ living area. The house is well designed for groups and beautifully designed with 2 floors and 3 baths. We had wished we would have had more time there. Everyone in our group loved it!

Hidden Gem!

Our only regret is we only had a very short stay of one night on the way from Fresno to Yosemite. The property comes with a very well appointed kitchen two comfortable bedrooms with another bedroom downstairs that we did not use. The back yard has a flowing stream that would have been great to relax near if we had more time!
