Enjoy your stay at this newly renovated home (2021) complete with state of the art fire pit, private dock, large enclosed sunroom & full wrap around porch. A short 10 minute drive to the sailing capital of NC for dining, shopping & live music at the local brewery & Red Rooster makes for a great night out after abundant fishing right off the dock. Or cook a full meal in the fully stocked kitchen & eat at the large farmhouse dining table.

The property was a perfect quiet getaway. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and watching various wildlife. The home was well equipped and close to desired restaurants and other amenities.

PERFECT SPOT!!

This is my family’s second time at Serenity Pointe and it was just as wonderful! We enjoy the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. Perfect location to be away but close enough to great food and shopping.

Already Looking To Book Again!

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was very clean and the view is amazing! There were lots of fish caught. We enjoyed watching the osprey and dolphins as well. We also enjoyed a trip to Oriental to walk around the shops and art gallery. We hope to return soon!

Beyond Peaceful

This home was perfect. From the host description, the decor, the dock, and the well stocked kitchen. We were comfortable as we enjoyed the sunrise, spent time on our boat docked on property, and even a nice fire to round out the evening. A perfect place for the 7 of us. We may return.

Peaceful

Quiet, stress-free stay. The views and the sunrise and sunset are priceless. The owners have paid attention to all the details. Property is tastefully decorated and includes everything you need. Beth was attentive to our questions. Worth booking again.

Peaceful and relaxing

My family and I were looking for a peaceful place to relax but within a short distance to restaurants and shopping. We found it all here! The house is beautiful and met all of our needs. We spent lots of time outside enjoying the surrounding views. The sunroom on the back of the house was a great bonus to our stay with great views of the river. Also, the road where the house is located is a great place for a walk. I would highly recommend this place!

THIS Place!!!

For my family, this was just the BEST place to stay! Definitely off the beaten path, which was just perfect, right there on the river, ideal weather, what more could anyone want or need? Roasted marshmallows @ the fire-pit, such fun messiness. My daughter, first time kayaker (on sight), was a natural (who knew?!). Just be careful on the slippery algae going toward the river, as well as the jellyfish in the river. Enjoyed family game night w/ Trivial Pursuit (on sight). We are all, already talking about getting together again @ this beautiful spot in the near future! A Happy Fun time was had by all! Beth May (owner), very prompt in replies and additional help as needed.

We purchased this property in 2021 & completely redid everything. It was a labor of love, & our family has thoroughly enjoyed this piece of Heaven on earth. Situated on 250 feet of water front property on the Neuse River (aptly meaning “peace”), you’ll find this place to be both incredibly quiet at times, & roaring with river life during others. We hope your stay will be as enjoyable as ours are!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This is a rural river community with only 10 homes. Everyone knows everyone, so you’ll be safe & sound. Expect to see some wildlife since you’re right on the river (lots of birds, river dolphins, otters, possibly a weasel sighting, some little critters outside here & there). Please be courteous to our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum after 10pm.

We love the sandy river bottom & swim frequently off the dock. At its deepest it is 5 feet, but the beachy area on the property allows for little children to play at the waters edge. We do suggest bringing water shoes, & there is an occasional rock here or there.
