**new for May 2023**Enjoy the sprawling Hocking Hills Countryside at the brand-new Golden Acres Lodge. Nestled among 40 rolling acres right around the corner from Hocking Hills State Park, this 2023 built luxury log home will take your breath away. Golden Acres is a private retreat that will comfortably accommodate 26 guests. Eight large bedrooms. 7.5 baths and upscale lodge-inspired interiors make this Hocking Hills vacation rental a spacious setting for a family holiday, corporate off-site meeting or large group gathering.

You will have plenty of space to spread out, over 6500 square feet! Numerous living areas including a main floor living room centered around the gorgeous 2 story stone fireplace and full wall of windows. The basement rec room features a pool table, air hockey and lounge area. To top off the indoor spaces there is a movie theatre where you can kick up your feet after a day exploring Hocking Hills and take in a movie on the 135" screen!

Outdoors the expansive deck and covered paver patio overlook the forest. After a day on the trails, you’ll be sure to enjoy the hot tub, outdoor shower, and outdoor living space. Explore the property on our trails or throw a line in the fishing pond. Gather the group and get competitive on the bocce ball court or over a game of cornhole.

Enjoy cooking for the group in the fully stocked kitchen. Double ovens, range, microwave and all the other small appliances you could dream of. Or take the meal prep outside to the gas grill. We can also provide catering recommendations if you prefer to leave the cooking to someone else.

We own and operate this lodge ourselves along with our 4 other properties. We truly enjoy providing your group with the most unforgettable Hocking Hills experience, one in which you will make lifetime memories. We have a full time maintenance man and the lodge is inspected thoroughly before every stay to make sure everything is just right! Fantastic!

Property was amazing, house was beautiful, directions were easy. We had everything we needed and more. So much to do at the house and around. We can’t say enough about how wonderful it was for us! Game room, theater room, hot tub, bocce, corn hole, fire pit, pool table, air hockey and tether ball!! Everything was well thought out about the house and the amenities. Sarah’s communication was thorough and prompt.

Amazing House

This property was perfect for our group of multiple families. We used lots of the games they had to offer including air hockey, bocce ball, pool and pinball. The kids loved the movie room. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The house was just as described and very clean. The property is very close to hiking options - our families hiked at Cedar Falls which was less than 5 mins away. Would highly recommend!

Girls trip to Golden Acres Lodge

Celebrating my 70th birthday with 8 girlfriends! Weather was surprisingly warm, lodge is pristine, stocked well with everything we needed, and overall this lodge can’t be improved on. We will be back again Many thanks Michelle R 🍃

Fantastic Hocking Hills Home

We had a wonderful stay at Golden Acres! With 10 adults, there was plenty of room for everyone and tons of room to spare! The house was super clean and very well appointed - it had everything you could need! From booking to check out, the owner was very responsive and easy to work with! Would definitely go back!!!

Our love of the Hocking Hills began as students at Ohio University in Athens, OH. We would frequently take day trips (snagging a ride with whomever was lucky enough to have a car on campus) to Old Man's Cave. Years after graduating we realized that the Hills were becoming a vacation destination for people all over the country.

We live an hour away from the cabins in Delaware, OH with our 2 daughters and of course Liberty. We have a vacation home naer our cabins in Hocking County and spend as much time as possible there. We are very familiar with all the hiking, dining, and attractions and would love to share our recommendations with you. We are fortunate to have amazing people who help with the day to day operations of our properties and are local to the area if you happen to need anything during your stay with us. We own and operate all of our cabins and pride ourselves on presenting our guests with the best Hocking Hills cabin experience!

We began with our first cabin, Liberty Ridge, named after our American Cocker Spaniel Liberty. After a year of hosting we added Redwood Lodge and during the fall of 2017 we built River Rock. Bobcat Bluff was our newest addition in the spring of 2019, named after our beloved Ohio University Bobcat. Golden Acres is our 5th property and we're so excited to share it with guests.

We love hosting guests from all over the world and do our best to make sure it's a memorable vacation for you. We hope you will choose us to host your next family reunion, vacation, or gathering and we hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

We built this property to be the best. We know there is a huge demand for family & friend groups to be able to vacation together but still have plenty of your own space to retreat to at the end of the day. Golden Acres offers so many amenities it is a vacation destination in itself, but it happens to be located around the corner from some of the countries most gorgeous hiking trails.
