Beautiful Waterfront 3 Bed/2 bath Hideaway. GREAT FLAT YARD!

Enjoy a lake experience at our hideaway retreat on Lake Catherine. If you aren't paddling around on one of our 5 kayaks, paddleboard, or canoe, enjoy fishing, swimming, skiing, and boating in the spring, summer, and fall (**Lake Catherine is drawn down from mid-November to Mid-March so kayaks, paddleboard, and canoe are put away as well**). During the winter your entire family will enjoy sitting around the large rock fire pit making Smores while the kids enjoy playing on the sandy beach since the lake is drawn down for the winter. There is also horseracing, gambling, dining, and walks along Bathhouse Row in the Hot Springs Historic District within 12 miles of the property.
The large outside deck is 60 feet from the lake with 210 feet of lakefront access and a beautiful level carpet grass lawn.
The home on this gated 2-acre property sits off the road and is surrounded on both sides by thick rows of trees that offer plenty of privacy.
The extra large deck has a table/chairs and a gas grill. smoker (propane supplied) and plenty of room for your entire group.
Enjoy the evenings making smores or just relaxing around the large rock firepit with 9 Adirondack chairs and plenty of firewood (supplied).
The covered boat dock is available to house your boat or jet skis and the separate swim dock area is shallow enough for children to play safely.
This property offers everything you need for your family and friends to create lifelong memories while enjoying a fun and relaxing lake vacation.

The place was so beautiful! I loved that it felt so secluded with the natural border fence and the private gate at the driveway. The house had everything I needed and the host, David, was great! My family had a wonderful time and would love to go back!

The home was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the property very pet friendly. But what we really loved about it was the back deck and the firepit. Because every evening was pretty chilly, after a full day of hiking and exploring the countryside we relaxed by the firepit with a glass of wine. David, the owner, provided plenty of firewood and firestarters, Thank you David!! We brought our little dog with us and he loved being able to run around the yard chasing his ball.

Hoff’s Hideaway is a beautiful lake home with cute themed decor and well stocked with all essentials for a perfect family getaway. There is a gas station and Dollar General just a mile from the rental. Mr.Hoff’s family made our stay extra special with the s'mores station which was a surprise. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful away from the buzz of the city and you are sure to get a relaxed stay. It is apparent that the hosts wanted to ensure a great holiday experience for any family visiting since they had gone above and beyond with amenities like kayaks, paddle board, life vests, firewood, starter kits, kids books and toys in the kids room. My daughter learned to kayak by herself and she truly enjoyed it. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. We made lovely memories to treasure and we are sure to be back soon with our extended family.

I have never had such hospitable and truly kind, accommodating hosts through VRBO. The owners are extremely attentive with this VRBO … they are accommodating and want all guests to have a wonderful experience. The property was spotless… I wish I could keep my home this clean and I am pretty OCD. Towels and bedding were very nice and even the decor was homey and very pretty. The view is priceless… little boat traffic and calm waters anytime of day. I wish we had a boat to ski those waters! Neighborhood

Hot Springs

Great place, nice yard, great fire pit. The location was perfect. We were about 15 minutes from everything. I bet a summer stay would be even better. Great water views.

Summer vacation

House was perfect for our trip, view was beautiful. Nice comfy beds and a very well stocked kitchen. Host was amazing with quick response to any questions we had. We had a wonderful week there.

Relaxing weekend trip

We had a great time on our visit to the Hoff Lake House. The owner was great with communicating with us. The hospitality was great with cute s'mores station and had all the necessities we needed to cook. The backyard is nice and relaxing too.

Family Getaway

Grandson, dad & papa wanted a lake vacation so coming to the lakehouse checked the list for all of us. We enjoyed swimming. kayaking and watching the stars at night.

Great little house and beautiful property!

We enjoyed this house so much. Fortunately the weather was absolutely gorgeous, too, so we spent lots of time on the large deck, the fishing dock (no fish caught, though) and on the kayaks. The owner was very attentive with one small issue with the gate, and even checked with us the following day to make sure all was well. The house was super clean and bedrooms very nice. This was a very quiet area, too - just what we needed. We loved looking out at the lake - so pretty!! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautifully appointed, relaxing lake retreat

Met our adult kids for a wonderful retreat weekend. Only wish we could've stayed longer! Hosts were unbelievable, communicated so well and very responsive, even allowed an earlier check in since we had groceries and a dog. Would love to return in the fall for cooler weather or for a spring break. Thanks for a great stay! :)

Peace with a view!

My family and I had such an amazing time at this property. The owners gave us several great recommendations that we really enjoyed. The place was SO clean and well-stocked. They thought of their visitors in every single room of this place. I felt like it was made just for us! Our favorite part of the property was the lovely fire pit. It was such a relaxing time, and we hope to be back soon!

Relaxing and private

Perfect location to chill on the deck, hang out by the fire pit at night, and had plenty of room inside for our family. Being right on the river with fish jumping and with the trees starting to turn colors and watching the herons and other birds around the property was peaceful. Kitchen was well stocked and house was decorated for the fall season so it didn’t feel as sterile as some rentals can be. We really appreciated the gated entry and how private it felt. Great place to stay while we were exploring the Hot Springs area! Also, the owner was great with communication, which is always a plus!

Lake Catherine Bliss

This property is wonderful and the hosts are the best! The home is spotless and perfectly designed to support a group of people enjoying the lake life! A s’mores station, fire pit, deck with grill, and available water toys such as kayaks, paddle board, and canoe made it a perfect match for my preteen/teen grandsons who loved every minute. The setting is ideal on a wooded completely private property that is still close to restaurants, activities, and stores. You should definitely make this a go to property for any trip to the Hot Springs area!

Family Time!!!

We had a great time at the lake house. It is in a very quiet location without a ton of boat traffic. Much quieter than nearby Lake Hamilton. The swimming area is great for children as it is shallow and gradually gets deeper. It is a bit grassy though. The use of the kayaks and paddle board are an excellent bonus and we were grateful to have them. Overall a fantastic experience and great place to take the family.

James, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the lake. It is refreshing to hear that others enjoy their time out there as much as we do. The swimming area is really nice for children. Our grandchildren are young and enjoy playing out there. It is just the right depth for swimming and playing and it does get deeper as you go out further. We also enjoy not having heavy boat traffic. Plenty of room to kayak, canoe, and paddle board. We would love to have you and your group come back and visit as often as you would like. We like to have guests that get the most of out their time at the lake. Lots of fun memories to be had. Relaxing

I want to say that this place was awesome. The view of Lake Ouachita was breath taking. The huge back porch and rear deck is amazing. We stayed there for my son's wedding in Hot Springs and it was a short 20 minute drive to downtown and a straight shot. The back yard was big enough from for my grandson and granddaughter to play around. We also asked for a sooner check in that 4 and David allowed us to check in at noon. The place was exactly how it was described on VRBO and it was very clean. The den was huge with an open floor plan to the kitchen. We would higly recommend this place to a large family. David easily to get in touch with and very accomodating!

Perfect relaxing girls trip

David was very upfront regarding a tree that had fallen on the fire pit and wouldnt be removed in time for our arrival. He offered the option for us to cancel but I'm so glad we didn't. The house was clean and very well kept. Sitting on the patio in the mornings was AMAZING! Great location if you dont want to be in the middle of the busy city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Brittany, We are so glad you ended up coming and the tree didn’t ruin your trip. We did finally get it removed last week and it looks like it meteor landed in the yard. Girls getaway

We had a group of 7 friends that met up for a few days to relax and make memories. The Hoff lake house provided the perfect spot for us. The lake was perfect for kayaking and swimming, s’mores by the fire pit, burgers on the grill, coffee on the porch….what more could you ask for. The house was stocked with lots of little extras, even fishing poles. We all enjoyed ourselves and plan to come again.

Linda and I were born and raised in Texas. We were both lifetime educators and retired after 30 years working with young people. The day we retired we moved to Conway AR to be near our girls and their families. Since then, our families have visited Lake Catherine numerous times each year and have fallen in love with the area. We decided to purchase the lake house so we could spend more time here with our family and friends.
