この施設について

Waterfront condo with large decks and a dock for summer fun centrally located.

Newly renovated condo with large outdoor space consisting of a private deck which has steps that lead down to the private deck and dock on the river. Easy to relax and enjoy the view, fish, swim, boat or just watch the sunset and/or rise on the Kanawha River. With or without a boat, you can enjoy the river and all it has to offer at our River Retreat!

Guest access
There are two parking spots available directly in front of the condo.

Other things to note
The large deck overlooking the river has a fireplace and patio table with comfortable cushioned seating to watch the sun rise or set. The private deck/dock sits on the wide banks of the Kanawha waters, so make sure to bring your fishing poles, swim suit, water toys, or boat which can be docked steps from your condo. However you like to spend your free time it’s here and waiting for you!

Just a few minutes drive in either direction takes you to Huntington or Charleston., where fine dining and night life are always in season. Even closer is the Meeks trails located in Hurricane, WV for hiking or biking the trails.

Great Stay!

This property was amazing! Such a comfortable place for us to stay for the weekend. The porch was amazing to set and have our coffee in the morning and the bed was super comfy! We had everything we needed, and the host was very communicative and checked in on us plenty. Would recommend and would stay again!

Book it!

Had a peaceful weekend at this beautiful location! It was just like the pictures! On the deck we enjoyed the most colorful sunsets. Loved that it was set in a sleepy town, no traffic to be bothered with. Cheryl was the most helpful host and even thought to have a welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived. So grateful for the memories!!

Quiet and Peaceful Getaway

We stayed for over a week and completely enjoyed our vacation there. It was quiet and the deck was the perfect place to unwind. The home is very spacious and has a set up for a couple or two or even a family. Cheryl was an amazing host who communicated on a personal level to ensure that we were completely set during our stay. We enjoyed nights overlooking the lake and the fire pit was a nice touch to sit and relax. Also, the master leads to a balcony so you can have your morning coffee! Thank you for an amazing experience, Cheryl!!

What a gem!

We weren't sure what to expect but we were very impressed. We had a whole little welcome corner when we arrived and our hostest was available from before our arrival to answer any questions, even offer suggestions. The place was super clean, super cute and the view!!! 😍 We loved sitting out in back both during the day and at night...just sitting there looking over the river was so peaceful after our outings. We watched fog come up over the river at night and it was magical. I would most definitely stay if I come through WV again. Great experience!

A Wonder on the Waterfront!

We were looking around for a nice place to call home for a few days when we were visiting Charleston and the surrounding area. We came across this rental and it was the perfect location. It is in a small quiet town that is only about a 30 minute drive into the bustling big city. The condo was beautiful! Very clean, updated, and much bigger than what we initially thought. The best part for me was the large deck and the personal dock that was literally right on the Kanawha River. After a long day of running around it was soooo relaxing sitting in a chair on the dock, reading a book, and then watching the sun go down on the other side of the river. The owner was extremely nice and answered any questions we had right away. Excellent communication! We would definitely recommend this to any friends or family that are visiting the area.

Great property and excellent views

5 solid stars from start to end. The house is furnished for a stable family not as a rental property. Hardwood floors, each piece of furniture or accessories are very carefully chosen. Very tasteful. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Great water pressure. Excellent HVAC. Relaxing views of direct river views from huge deck. Functional BBQ. Fully equipped kitchen with excellent set of knives. Full size ice cold fridge.... flawless. Super friendly and helpful responsive host. Reliable internet. Generous TV channel selection... Had a great time. 30 minutes drive to Charleston downtown. Thanks. Stayed 1 week in June 2023
