The location is excellent being right downtown and was a nice space. However if you have sensitivity to mold or musty odors this may not be the place for you.The host was very communicative and helpful.

The apartment was just perfect! Lewisburg is a hidden gem! It was centrally located in the town close to The Wild Bean coffee that I ordered from daily and Walmart for quick grocery runs. We enjoyed a long weekend hiking in WV & VA and the apartment served as a great location for traveling about. Quiet, quaint and a homey little place for my fiancé, 7 & 9 year old. We comfortably cooked dinner every night and enjoyed the small back porch in the evening. Nancy is a perfect host! Would highly recommend!

Great basement apartment - perfectly located to walk around and enjoy historic Lewisburg's adorable downtown. Just steps from restaurants, boutiques and historic sights. Clean, updated bath, simple yet charming. I would definitely consider staying again on my next trip to town.

Fall Getaway

The apartment was perfect for a fall weekend escape. Lewisburg had plenty to keep us entertained. We enjoyed the local hiking. Greenbrier Resort is a pretty 15 minute drive away. We enjoyed visiting the resort.

Parking was a nightmare, unit was terrible, smelled like a combination of pet pee (stained carpets ever where) and raw sewage smell. VRBO kitchens are normally stocked with a good supply of products so you don't have to go purchase everything, the kitchen was empty -- nothing --- no salt, pepper, nothing. Frig door handle hasn't been cleaned EVER, totally gross. Left the next morning. Don't stay here !!!!

Perfect stay in Lewisburg!

We loved staying at this comfy apartment! It's located on a quiet street that is an easy walk to downtown. There are 2 nice bedrooms, cozy living room and large kitchen. We slept soundly because it was so quiet! We'd have used the outdoor seating area but it was raining. Check-in was a breeze and the all the info (door code, wifi etc) was super easy to find. Met the owner (who was lovely!) and got to meet her dogs, which we loved. Favorited it in vrbo for our next visit to Lewisberg!

LOVED OUR STAY!!!

Our goal was to have a relaxing weekend in Lewisburg and we got it! We booked this unit hoping it was "all that" and it was - AND MORE! What a nice apartment! It was clean, very spacious, and left like "home." It was located in walking distance to downtown Lewisburg, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. The check-in process was easy and communication with the owner was flawless. Upon check-in, there were instructions laid out on the counter about internet, securing the front door, checking out, etc. - all questions were answered. Also, we got the best sleep all weekend - those beds were so comfortable! And, the water pressure in the shower was incredible - loved taking a shower! This unit was a surprise as to how charming it really was. We slept good, we ate good, and we could walk everywhere. It was truly the weekend we wanted and needed. We will be staying here again in the future and I would recommend this unit to anyone planning to stay in Lewisburg!!!

This place was great, everything about it. The host was very communicative and helpful with all related info about the property - check in/out processes, parking, etc. The place itself is extremely cute and in a great neighborhood. Property was extremely clean and well maintained. Added bonus - the water pressure in the shower was phenomenal! We love Lewisburg in general, having travelled there many times, but I think this property was by far the best one yet. I only wish we'd had more time to spend. Hopefully, we will be able to come back in the future and spend more time in the area, to truly take advantage of this property and its proximity to everything the downtown had to offer.

Nancy’s description of the property is spot on. It was clean, comfortable, and a stones throw from the many charms of downtown Lewisburg. Nancy was responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. We would happily stay here again.
