Welcome to “The Carol”! The sister house to "The Charles". Situated in the heart of the Yorkville section of Pottsville, PA, this townhome was just completely remodeled into the perfect mix of original character and modern efficiency. Guests will immediately feel a sense of warmth and coziness entering the Airbnb through the original wood and glass front door. ***Need more space? Rent 'The Charles' and 'The Carol' together; www.airbnb.com/h/thecharlespottsville The first floor includes a spacious living room with modern and classic furniture and a Smart TV, a dining room that can comfortably host dinner for 8 people, and a brand new fully equipped kitchen with gorgeous marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and the original farmhouse sink from 1930. Finishing off the first floor is the covered back porch including new patio furniture and string lights. The second floor includes the first full bathroom equipped with the original clawfoot tub restored with a new shower unit. Next to the bathroom is a bedroom with a full sized bed and Smart TV. The master suite with a king size bed and Smart TV is also on the second floor, and this includes a very large bathroom with double sinks and a 5-foot tile and glass shower. The third floor includes the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. The first bedroom on the third floor has a full size bed with a Smart TV, and the second bedroom includes 2 full size beds and a writing desk as a designated work space. This home is 1,750 sq feet PARKING— Off street parking is available for 1 vehicle. Please see exterior photos for parking information. Free street parking is also available. Guests will have access to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, including a spacious covered porch off of the kitchen. Basement is for owner access only. Message us on the app or call/text us! Only a few blocks away from downtown and other attractions. The home is situated on a non-busy street, with access to street parking. We have established relationships with each of our neighbors on the entire block. As of now, parking is street parking only. *We are adding off-street parking in the middle of October 2023!* The home is situated around major highways and roads, so it is simple to navigate by travelers. Easy check-in with the smart keypad lock.

House was clean and beautiful and had everything youd need. Plenty of space for a family of 6! Hosts were also easy to get a hold of and very helpful. We loved our stay here and plan on returing next time we visit Pottsville

Home is beautifully renovated. So happy it is pet-friendly so we could bring our pup. Enjoyed a fun Friday night dinner around the dining room table with family we haven’t seen in two years! Master bath is amazing!!

The house was very nice inside. There were a few negatives. There were not enough towels and only bath towels. We were told street parking was available. Very hard to find a space. Poor neighborhood.

Home away from home

We concluded our week stay at "The Carol," which is one of two units of The Century Home. Very clean, and comfortable, it truly did feel like home. While there we prepared food for a family gathering. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and a middle island was a great workspace. Lots of room for a few people to work. My hubby and I had the front / master bedroom (2nd floor). It has its own bathroom, which was spacious. Bed was nice and clean. Plenty of closet space, and drawers for clothing. Our son and his 5 year old daughter shared the back bedroom (2nd floor), and our 11 year old grandson used one of the bedrooms up on the third floor. They all shared the hall bath on the second floor. Centrally located in the city of Pottsville, PA, we found it easy to drive to grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants. Going to Mass is important to us, and there are a couple of Catholic churches within reach. There seems to be other denominations as well.

Fabulous house, great location

We came to Pottsville for Yeungling and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, and The Carol Century House couldn't have been more perfect. The house was charming, and that part of the street was pretty quiet. It was 12 blocks from Yeungling and a few more from a variety of restaurants. There were two streets parallel that had gorgeous houses. It was a perfect neighborhood for walking our dog. The house itself was adorable. Very clean and very nicely remodeled (in fact, I want that master bath in my house!). It was perfect for our stay.

lovely home, great location in schuylkill county, was very clean ,very comfortable. friendly and nice hosts. parking space was very convenient. Kitchen was stocked, plenty of towels, nice fenced yard. Perfect for families.

Annual hike weekend

13 folks (all family) spread across both rentals for Yuengling tour and hiking (Pulpit Rock/Pinnacle). Perfect for all our needs. Really like what Emily has developed.

Adorable Townhouse!

We came up for a quick family visit and the townhouse was convenient to all of the locations we needed to drive to. It was super clean and very cute! I loved the book to show the historic home before remodeling. The Moyers definitely poured their hearts into preserving certain elements while giving it a modern flair. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and spacious townhome - what a gem!

This rental was really fantastic. It is beautiful inside with everything you need (towels, linens, paper products, etc.). Everything is updated and like new. Nice little porch overlooking the backyard. We have family in the area and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

A wonderfully renovated, beautiful home. Updates the owners made are very nice and modern while keeping the character of the home itself. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again when in the area.

Fantastic New Option in Pottsville

This is a wonderful alternative to the (lack of) hotel options in Pottsville. The property is centrally located, clean very comfortable and sleeps many. Emily was a wonderful host who responded to every question within minutes. They have added a parking spot for the house which made everything easy. They are about to add the property next door as another option and we will definitely be staying at one of these for all future visits.

This property is so spacious and was filled with all of the necessities you didn’t think you needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were fully stocked. We had access to cleaning supplies, fresh towels and more. The king bedroom had a huge bathroom with space for our bridesmaids to get ready. The kitchen was our favorite part of the bnb! We felt right at home. We also met the property owners during our stay and they were welcoming. Overall our stay was incredible.

Wonderful hosts that did a wonderful job renovating this century home property! Location and parking were the biggest concerns but we were assured that they have been working on the parking issues and to reconcile the neighbor issues. This couple made certain to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable and went above and beyond to take care of our group.

Terrific stay!

Beautiful, super clean and comfortable stay! We were so appreciative of the obvious pride and care the owners have for this property. The neighborhood is totally fine. We were able to park without a problem with the help of the super nice neighbor lady across the street who greeted us warmly when we got out of our car. Thank you Emily for the wonderful stay!

Emily and Braden are amazing to work with. The property was beautiful and comfy. I cannot say enough about the amenities. Every time I needed something, I thought it wouldn’t be there. Low in behold there it was. Blow dryer, toaster, pots, pans…you name it. They had things there that were added touches that I LOVED. Excellent hosts

Beautiful home, undesirable location.

Let me start with the great the home is really beautiful on inside you can tell a lot of thought went into design of the home and it is huge! There were some practical issues however the main bathroom was beautiful but shower only had mist setting which makes it hard to use efficiently. The neighbors in immediate proximity seemed nice as well however the area was a little scary looking you can tell that they are trying to make it better because lots of the homes are being renovated. The other issue was parking; there was literally no parking I had to park a block down the road which was concerning with the neighborhood. It’s also not very dog friendly there is a small patch of grass on side of the house we used for potty time however we had a random passerby purposely scare our dogs so dogs were terrified the whole trip. I didn’t take off stars because owner did not have anything to do with incident just be aware if you have a pup. If we didn’t have dogs I would stay again because again the inside was gorgeous. I think with some fine tuning this place could go from great to stunning!

Clean, Beautiful Home

We loved this place. It was the perfect location for Yuengling and local breweries... nothing was far. The interior was decorated beautifully and seeing the transformation they made on the house was so neat with the book they provided in the home. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast in the morning and the rooms were so cozy. We loved our stay. Emily was always responsive and helpful with our needs. Would definitely recommend this place for a cozy home away from home if visiting Pottsville.

Great Home in Pottsville

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this newly renovated century home. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining table could seat all 8 friends who visited while we were in Pottsville. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of great quality. Every detail of this home was well-planned. Thanks for hosting us!

Perfect place to stay in Pottsville!

This place is wonderful! It has been beautifully renovated, and was very comfortable and perfectly clean. There are many restaurants close by (although the kitchen was well-appointed for anyone who wants to cook), and the Yuengling Brewery is nearby, too. Emily was quick to respond to questions, and was very helpful with local recommendations.
