Step out your door and walk a few blocks to historic downtown Truckee’s boutiques, restaurants, and bars, or head just across the bridge for a hike at Truckee River Regional Park. Depending on the season, you’ll be surrounded by hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as water sports opportunities at Donner Lake, around four miles away. Kings Beach State Recreation Area on Lake Tahoe is just 12 miles away. If you’re visiting in the winter, skiing at Northstar California Resort awaits around seven miles away.

At home, original details meld seamlessly with modern convenience. Hardwood floors, arched doorways, and original woodwork throughout the home add character, while the well-equipped, full kitchen, free WiFi, and in-home washer/dryer mean you won’t have to sacrifice any comforts. Whip up family favorite recipes with the help of a full suite of stainless steel appliances, then serve up your culinary creations at the adjacent dining table.

After a day of adventures, mix yourself a cocktail at the wet bar downstairs and settle into the living room to stream the latest release or grab a good book and enjoy the sights and sounds of the passing river from the sunroom. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
