Located in the highly desirable west shore of Donner Lake this quaint cabin has all of the charm Tahoe has to offer. Skiing at local resorts, shopping and dining in historic downtown Truckee, or hiking and biking on world class trails are all out your back door. Cozy up next to the fireplace or relax in the hot tub after a long day of adventures. Or just enjoy and play in the snow outside your front door. This one of a kind property backs up to 6 acres of undeveloped land with Donner Creek running through it. The cabin allows plenty of privacy while still being conveniently located within walking distance to a neighborhood cafe. It is truly a special place!

Great stay!

Perfect place for a quick weekend away with my daughters. The cabin is very sweet and cozy, plenty of games, puzzles, legos to keep the kids entertained on a snowy day. Fun backyard to play in the snow and super close to Donner ski ranch and Truckee. We will definitely be back for another stay. Maybe next time in the summer

Cozy Creekside Cabin

This was our 2nd time staying at this amazing property. Britta was a fantastic host once again with exceptional communication. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The location along Donner creek is peaceful and serene. Being able to sit in the hottub after a full day on the slopes is a real plus. We will stay here again for sure!

Wonderful Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin. Very close to Boreal ski resort. Very clean and we felt right at home.

Cosy cabin in a great location

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin and we hope to come back for a longer stay later this year. The cabin was a perfect size for us and was filled with sunlight through all the windows. The location is fantastic in a quiet neighborhood and right next to a beautiful creek. It was very clean and had pretty much everything you would need to cook a meal.

Wonderful family cabin

This was a perfect winter cabin for our family of four. There is a bathroom and shower on both levels, washer and dryer, and enough pots and pans to prepare simple meals. Plenty of towels, kitchen and bath tissues. Large outdoor deck and nice views from every window. Wifi is fine for work and streaming. Host is very responsive over text. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. DSR and Sugar Bowl are less than 15 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to visiting again.

Great cabin

Lovely neighborhood and cabin thoughtfully stocked and decorated. It was fantastic to use the hot tub under the stars and surrounded by snow. Great location close to skiing, the lake, and Truckee.

This was a nice little house in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife from the deck. Very clean and well stocked.

Charming Cabin in a Great Location

This is such a sweet and comfortable cabin. We loved how it was nestled in the trees and you could hear the creek rushing by. It's an easy walk to Donner Lake and 15 minute drive to Sugar Bowl. Worked perfectly for our family of 4. Britta was very kind and communicative.

Great stay!

Beautiful cabin right on the creek. 15 minute walk to the lake & pub. Well stocked, clean, comfortable & cozy. Will definitely book again.

Wonderful weekend getaway

This cabin by the lake was perfection. Great location, cozy atmosphere and beautiful views from the deck. The hall closet had a variety of toys/games that came in handy. Britta was very friendly and easy to get in touch with when we had questions. I hope to come back and visit.

Fantastic Getaway

The Cabin was everything VRBO had listed, and the owners were always available for any questions we had. A super quiet neighborhood less than a half mile from Donner Lake with hiking trails all around. Couldn’t have enjoyed a better weekend anywhere else. Can’t wait to come back!

Cozy cabin retreat

This was a great cabin retreat in Donner. We enjoyed all the amenities and location - morning hikes and exploring, meals at many of the great restaurants nearby, hot tub soaks, card and board games, movies on Netflix. We got married on Donner Lake and this was the perfect cabin for us!
