Nice modern apartment but...
We stayed at the Allyn house for one night and it was alright. The reason I'm leaving a somewhat critical review is that the description could use some revision. We stayed on a Saturday evening when the weather was nice, and we found that the property and waterfront is far from private. There is a steady stream of vehicle and pedestrian traffic on the lot from the business below the apartment and around it. The listing also stated there was a washer/dryer, smoke detectors, and wifi. There was no washer/dryer, the smoke detectors had been removed, and the wifi did work but not enough to stream or use the smart TV. I reached out the host and mentioned these things, and her response was the smoke detectors were removed for painting. I asked for a partial refund but she said she had never done that before and that I would have to contact VRBO. I contacted VRBO and they said I had to contact the host, I reached back out to the host and then I never heard back from her. This is a nice place, the host just needs to revise the listing and communicate a little better.
