Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located main level apartment. The property is a duplex-- the other tenants access thru exterior back steps. You do not share any spaces.

Close to downtown shops, bars, restaurants, Sheldon theatre, park with live music, bakery, coffee shop and more! Short drive to wineries, brewery, golfing, the bluffs, and Mississippi River!


Enjoy our main level unit where you will have access to 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, dining, living room, fully stocked kitchen. Washer/Dryer located in the basement. Basement may be a bit steep for some, but washer/dryer are availabl
The space
The property was built in 1900 and is located in the Red Wing Historical district. The "Yellow Door" which is what it is lovingly called has been completely updated in the fall of 2022.

You are greeted by an open porch where you can sit and enjoy the fall nights, or have conversations while someone is grilling the meal for the night.

Really Nice place with a great location

Had a great stay. Very clean and appreciated the Keurig and Coffee Selection. Walking distance to restaurants and the River. Really great place would recommend.

Cute and convenient

We were in town for a wedding and two adult couples stayed here rather than the hotel and it was a great choice! The place is super cute and clean and very conveniently located. You can easily walk into downtown Red Wing.

Location

Property is very nice, beds were comfortable! The location is central to what makes Red Wing a special place to visit. And if you love Kwik Trip like I do, it is very close by when you need a snack.

So cute and close to down town

We were able to walk downtown to restaurants, bars and stores. Quickly got an appointment to J-nails for a pedicure, only a block away! Great stay.

Great Location

This house is very well represented by its photos! It’s so quaint and cute, and very close to everything in RedWing. Little special touches make it feel very homey.

Truly a home away from home

This cute little property was just as described in the listing. There were many modern updates and special touches throughout the home. Host was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Red Wing accommodations

This is the third time we have stayed at this charming home. It is in an older part of town which is part of the charm. Quiet neighborhood but very close to conveniences like Caribou and within walking distance of downtown. The house itself is a combination of old and new. Original wood floors and woodwork, all the amenities of high speed internet and large smart tv, etc. Management is wonderful to work with. Will definitely stay there the next time we stay in Red Wing.

This house is completely renovated. It is a beautiful house! Need a king bed in one of the bedrooms. Need more supplies maybe cleaning crew missed it? Owner is very nice and available. Overall great place!!

Cute house!

Very clean older home with lots of charm. It’s been updated nicely and we felt safe and comfortable. Great location too. My only rec would be to update pillows on the bed (glad I brought mine from home. Pillows were very thin and no support). But this is not a major deal at all. Shower is great and amenities are nice.

Charming house conveniently located

There were three of us sharing this 2 bedroom 1bath house. It was our second time. I love this house, but one bathroom is ok for three people but would be tough for four. Comfortable beds, great living space, very nice and accessible landlords. Convenient location. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, clean, easy entry and well stocked with necessary items.

Host was very pleasant and helpful. She had to give me entry information since VRBO never contacted by the day of arrival. This comment is dissatisfaction with VRBO not host.

Charming!

The house was perfect for the two of us. We were visiting family so we didn’t spend a lot of time there, but it was stocked with everything we needed and the living room couch/tv was really comfortable. Two comfortable beds. One bathroom was fine for us. Quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of pretty downtown Red Wing.

Perfect from A to Z !!

This house is home away from home. Family relocated to this area and this little house was called Nene’s house for 3 days. The hostess has gone above and beyond to accommodate with supplies and my schedule. Thank you so much. I plan to return very soon.

Hello! Our names are Travis and Lana Huemann. Thanks for stopping in and checking out our property! We enjoy hosting and enjoy real estate. We have refurbished two properties and transformed them into Short term rentals. We enjoy traveling and staying at STR so we tried to create and provide an environment that we would like to stay in.

We are pleased with the results and hope you will be as well! We have self- checkin and and typically leave the guest to do there thing...however we are very available if something is needed and the guest needs any assistance!

We purchased this property in 2010- we fell in love with the natural woodwork, the wood floors, as well as the built-ins and the wooden columns. The home seemed so rich with history being in the Historic district. It did need some love, which is what we did to it in 2022.
We kept most of the original woodwork and charm, but gave it an updated feel and added some amenities.

We love the open air porch, the wood ceiling on the porch as well. Once inside all the natural woodwork was something that we fell in love with!
