A quiet place to retreat in the Pristine, Wild, Pecos forest by the River.
Perfect for families, romantic couples, artists or the creative souls.
Sleep with the sound of the river. Private fly fishing at your front door (no need for a fishing license). Fish at the Monastery lake or tour Battlefield Monument close by.
Hike in the beautiful Santa Fe National forest / discover the nearby caves and petroglyphs. All of this plus only 10 minutes from the small town of Pecos and 25 minutes to Santa Fe.There is nothing more valuable than time away form our reality. At this beautiful large property on the Pecos river you will have privacy and a feeling of Inner Peace. The large porch has a view of apple trees inspiring you to stay a while. You can meander to the fishing deck on the water to feel the river cleansing your soul. In the evening the hot tub under the stars brings out the tranquility of nature, I can't quite put into words. You can chose to sit on the deck and have a fire or you go by the river and enjoy the fire pit the nights are as amazing as the days.

This was our 3rd Labor Day weekend at this wonderful property! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Timmi and Elmo do an outstanding job of providing everything you could possibly need during your stay. We absolutely cannot wait to return again. We may just have to visit more than once next year!

Wonderful!

Had another wonderful relaxing time at the Pecos River Retreat. Hosts are wonderful, and the property was beautiful and well stocked as usual. This was our second visit here, and now is our go to when looking to unplug and relax.

Beautiful getaway

This was our second time staying at the Pecos River Retreat, and it was just as magical as the first visit. Our generous host Timmi provided everything we could have asked for and more! The weather was perfect for enjoying hiking, fishing, and just soaking up the peace and quiet. Hope we can come back soon!

Great river retreat!

We had an awesome weekend stay at the Pecos river cabin. Tammi was super easy to communicate with, left us clear instructions and was available to answer any questions we had. The home is as listed- it had everything we needed for our stay! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Pleasure on Pecos River

This property with the Pecos River in the front yard is at a beautiful and very peaceful location. The front porch with table and comfortable chairs was perfect for gathering of family, grilling, and watching the humming birds. The hosts were great and very prompt in communicating. Accommodated 5 easily and loved the hot tub. Highly recommend it!

Family time

A fantastic place for out 1 and 4 year old. The street is blocked off which creates privacy for us and other neighbors on street. Everyone is very friendly! The owner Timmi even left a hand written note. The most well stocked vacation rental home I have ever been in. Highly recommend!

July 4 Week Trip

We had a very comfortable stay during the week of July 4. Two adults and our dog. The house is nestled in a cool canyon next to the Pecos River. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very up to date and well-equipped. And the front porch was perfect for grilling in the outdoor kitchen, dining outside on the covered porch, and sitting next to the gas fire pit. Very relaxing. We wanted for nothing!

Heaven on Earth

We had the most relaxing stay at the Pecos River Retreat. The house is absolutely beautiful nestled in the valley right beside the river. It feels like you are the only people around for miles - so private and quiet. The kitchen is so well equipped, with every possible utensil and appliance you could ever need. The zen garden and hot tub were so lovingly cared for, really such a peaceful experience. And the hummingbirds! It was so amazing to be able to get so close to them while they visited the many feeders. Timmi was the kindest and most generous host, with great activity suggestions, and a wealth of guide books we enjoyed using during our stay. I cannot wait to come back - hands down the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in!

Quaint get get away

This property is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. We are a family of 3, with 2 dogs. Our daughter is soon to be 11. We had everything we needed including many indoor and outdoor games which kept out daughter entertained and way from electronics! We were able to fish, grill, have s'mores, play and just enjoy eachother. Our host has everything we could have ever needed. So we over packed a bit. We will definitely be back!

Renew Refresh Reconnect Recharge

Our winter stay at Pecos Retreat was amazing. We came out to spend some much needed family time with our daughter who is stationed in NM.The cabin is beautiful, well decorated and equipped with everything you would need. I prepared two holiday meals and it had all the equipment and utensils I needed. Timmi and Elmo even provided enough wood for the woodstove for the whole week. The hot tub is amazing for morning coffee and evening star gazing. It was clean and in good working order. The grill area was great and easily accessible. We loved sitting around the fire table in the evening talking, laughing, sharing and making s'mores. This cabin provided the perfect place to move forward into the coming year with renewed hearts and spirits.

Getaway on the river

This is a lovely escape just a short drive from ABQ. The house is steps away from the river with a lovely space to relax. We lounged by the river until the rain chased us back to the house. The covered porch has several seating areas including a propane fire pit and a complete outdoor kitchen with a bar. The hot tub feels like a zen oasis with beautiful flowers and hummingbird feeders. We spent the majority of our time when we weren’t sleeping outside. I could wax poetic about falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the river and the birds. We watched a fat squirrel raid the bird feeder from the bedroom window. It is evident this is well-loved family vacation home. Timmi and Elmo have thought of everything! Timmi was so helpful and communicative. We loved every moment of our time here.
