Newly renovated, open concept home located in the heart of Oak Island between the ocean and Intracoastal Waterway. Minutes from the beach, shopping, dining, parks and recreation. Everything you need is just up the street. Enjoy your mornings in the sun on the front porch or in the shade in the back on the screened in porch. Rinse off from the beach in the private outdoor shower! Let your pups roam freely in the fenced backyard! Shibumi Shade included with rental!

This is a non-smoking house. A $250 dollar fee will be assessed for violations. Trash and recycles go out Monday evening and upon departure.
Please leave all things the way you found them. If the house is found dirty and we are assessed an additional cleaning fee, we will send you a bill.
We love our pups. Please keep your fur babies safe. Let them roam the fenced backyard, but please clean up after them. There are plenty of bags.

The home is very nice and spacious for families with kids of all ages and pets. We will definitely look to stay here again. Clean and great space for family meals. Beach is a few blocks away and close to restaurants and park.

Overall very good. Loved the area and pups enjoyed having a yard to play in. Kitchen items are a bit sparse. King bed in master very comfortable however the double bed not so much. Owners very nice to communicate with.

We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the neighborhood. I would suggest hanging a line in the back for wet swimwear and towels to dry, some plastic plates and bowls in the kitchen for kids, and allow for a few extra bath towels. I must add though that we enjoyed our stay and that we would use this property again. These are just suggestions to make the stay even easier.

Nice Neighborhood

We had a nice stay. The house is very cute in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was clean, and the house provided what we needed.

I want to go back and stay again soon!

What an absolutely lovely and convenient home this is! I wish we could have stayed longer. The home is adorable and very nicely laid out. Plenty of room, clean and comfortable. We loved the screened in porch and fenced back yard. And the location is amazing. You can literally walk to local shops, restaurants, grocery stores. And it was super quiet at night. I can’t wait to book our next stay!

pretty good beach house

we really enjoyed staying in this house and overall was a great place to stay in my perspective but for my aunts perspective she says the issues she had with it was there was no tv in the other two rooms, only tvs in the living room and in master bedroom. the water makes a sound like it’s screaming at u almost the whole time. there wasn’t curtains in the other room. in my opinion this houses fenced in yard is not suitable for small dogs, there is a gap between the gates on one side of the house and on the other side there’s a gap between the gates and there’s also a gap between the gutter drain and the house, my pitbull was able to stick his head through it and my small pekingese walked right out it without noticing so always supervise ur dogs when letting them in the fenced in yardthe host was very nice and friendly aswell just wish the fence was better bc what if my dog had ran into the road and got hit by a car? i’d hate for that to happen to someone else’s dogs

Lovely but could be cleaner

This house is nice and location is perfect! We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness. There were things left behind from previous renters as well as dust. Furniture and decor are somewhat tired and dingy. Fenced in yard and outdoor shower were great. Homeowner very quick to respond.

Beach trip

Beach trip with friends was great ! Dog friendly house with fenced in yard was wonderful ! Plenty of space for everyone ! Lots of parking spots! Close to beach , could walk or bike ride ! Nice quiet neighborhood!

Beautiful, comfortable vacation home

We enjoyed our stay at this Oak Island home very much! The house was spacious and very pleasant to stay in! It was clean, while also being comfortable for our kids and dog to relax in. The king bed was very comfortable. The outdoor shower is super spacious and private. The screened-in porch was nice for watching our dog explore the yard. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The walk to the beach took us 12 minutes and involved crossing a busy road, so we decided to purchase the week parking pass, which made getting to the beach SO easy - we recommend doing that!! There's also a great park near the house and beach with a ball field, playground, splash pad, and skate park, also an icecream shop and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, we had a GREAT vacation and we'd recommend this house to anyone!

Great vacation find !!!

Property was in a great neighborhood and plenty of parking !!! Inside was very clean and equipped with everything that we needed for our stay !!! It’s a 20 minute walk to the beach so we tried to rent a golf cart but you need to do that ahead of your stay ! We had a wonderful week , beach was beautifull Definitely plan on returning Thank to Jean for sharing your beach home !!!

Our family had a great time! Plenty of beach time, and still plenty to see and do on the island. House was spacious enough for the 5 of us and clean. Wont be disappointed with the owner either. Very prompt with messages. Thanks again for the great stay!

fantastic experience. The location was absolutely perfect, providing easy access to local attractions and the beach. Small Get Away

We absolutely fell in love with this property from the moment we walked in the door. We had an enjoyable stay here celebrating my daughter's 19th Birthday. The house was exactly as described, and it had everything that we needed. Although it wasn't a huge problem, the only thing we had trouble with was the television. There were too many channels to select from, so we ended up streaming instead of watching the TV - again, no problem just unfamiliar with that wide of a channel guide. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. The walk to the beach was not difficult and in fact in the evening very relaxing. Jean was very responsive to our questions.

Great little getaway for our family

We had a great stay. Our pup enjoyed the yard, the kids had their own space, everything was an easy walk or drive. Jean helped us with a little housekeeping snafu. We appreciated the communication and very much enjoyed the end of our spring break at OKI!
