Gorgeous hilltop estate with heated pool in Kenwood

Secluded on a peaceful knoll just minutes from the towns of Kenwood and Glen Ellen, this approximately 3,300-square-foot home is a serene, comfortable resort-caliber retreat set in the northern Sonoma Valley with 360-degree views of vineyards, small shaded oak forest, meadows and pastures, poised perfectly in the Valley of the Moon to appreciate the beauty of the Mayacamas Range that separates the two valleys of Sonoma and Napa. This unique setting also affords views of Hood Mountain, Sugarloaf Park, Sonoma Mountain with the legendary Jack London Historic State Park. You can easily confuse the view with the hills of Tuscany.

The main living and entertaining spaces allow for graceful transitions, from living area to deck, patios and pool, creating several separate yet connected spots for relaxation. Main living area includes a fireplace, a lofty open beamed ceiling, and a wall of windows offering a dramatic panoramic view. The open kitchen is fully stocked with built-in breakfast table. The dining area features terra cotta tile gas fireplace, expansive views from banks of windows and doors to a large redwood deck.

Plenty of spots for catching afternoon and winter sunshine and sunset views over the vineyard and a simple step down to a level area for recreation activities. Curved steps lead to a fenced vegetable and herb garden with raised beds. Fruit trees, roses, wisteria, and peonies surround the pool. Two swings in the oak grove.

The primary bedroom features a king bed, fireplace, office, peloton and ensuite bathroom.

The second bedroom features a queen bed, desk, and ensuite bathroom.

The third bedroom features a queen bed and private deck overseeing the horse stables.

The forth bedroom features two twin beds (only one bed pictured).

The fifth bedroom features a twin bed, as well as a washer / dryer located in the closet.

We have young children so do have a crib, pack n play, high chair, sound machines, etc if needed, however, the house is not baby proofed (no gates on stairs or locked cabinets).

The pool is covered (no gate) and can be heated upon request for an additional charge.

No smoking, no events, no amplified sound per County of Sonoma ordinance. Pets upon request with additional pet deposit.
